No, it's not every day I go to Birmingham to meet complete utter strangers. I'm organising it but she kind of has to check who'll pick me up from the station. Wouldn't your parents be a little suspicious if you told them you were going off somewhere to meet people over the internet?.

They'd be more suspicious about where I got the money to travel to Birmingham with, tbh. Maybe two years ago they'd be suspicious, but I've brought homeless people home and all sorts.

Mine wasn't especially. It's more of an issue if you just know them on MSN or whatever, but in this case where everyone else going has actually met each before, they can all vouch for each other.
