Gah, no pops. Was expecting Terry to go to superb batting, so hopefully he'll go next week. Canning at 97,936 BTR as well. Will he get there next week? Stay tuned.

Un-gracious or not, it's ludicrous that I lost by that margin.

Whitehorne will be listed as soon as I see a decent F/FM bowler on the market. Absolutely no point having a masterful bowler who's incapable of taking a wicket (wicketless in three consecutive matches now Edit: oh wait, he took one). Might have to list him a few times before getting the price I want though.

I was desperately unlucky to lose to Rob today by a mere 8 wickets. I thought my total of 140-ish was going to be ultra competitive!
Hahaha, that was actually a really good effort from your team, to make 140. Thanks for the friendly.

Gray's BTR is going nuts, with only 1 w/k net. It went up by 7,000 to 112,283. One senses Mcmillan (89,208) is closing in on the big 1-0-0 as well.

Bhutia is starting to look like a monster, BTR is starting to increase in bigger increments too. His form & PFL are pretty shocking though, Resp & Fresh respectively.

BARNES OUT
No pops. Expecting Sambrook to pop to quality bowling soon, and Holly (hopefully) to prof batting and conc, though he might be close with cons and farther away with his batting.

tense cup match in progress at the moment. i think we're in the better position. but he does have a pretty good bowler that will be operating in the final 10 overs. still morrison, hamshaw and lennon to come though. so it's all on at this stage

End of Over 29: 158-1, runrate=5.45, reqrunrate=6.29 (289-4)
Tailor 5-0-23-0
Duggan* 69 (71 balls)
Janes 79 (97 balls)

Last Wicket: Fry lbw b. Falken 6 (FOW: 9/1)

EDIT: I think Janes might be hitting his fitness wall. He has respectable though so I would have assumed that this would be enough for one day matches?

interesting. duggan has been in 90s for ages now. if his form goes up he should get there in an instant.

15 runs from the 43rd over off his gun bowler, so we're looking pretty good.

End of Over 43: 253-3, runrate=5.88, reqrunrate=5.29 (289-4)
Falken 7-0-40-2
Morrison* 27 (14 balls)
Hamshaw 8 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Janes b. Falken 112 (FOW: 227/3)

gay gay gay

EDIT: 276/6, 4 overs left, morrison at the crease with vermaak. big over about to start.

EDIT: this isn't much fun. lee comes in and gets single to retain the strike, he's well and truly in my bad books atm

End of Over 48: 279-8, runrate=5.81, reqrunrate=5.50 (289-4)
Tailor 9-0-53-2
Lee* 1 (1 balls)
Morrison 38 (24 balls)

EDIT AGAIN: 7 needed from the final over, morrison on strike, 1 wicket left. i think we're doomed

Last Wicket: Sweeney lbw b. Tailor 0 (FOW: 278/8)

well then :(

so a 5 run defeat. i feel crushed deep down inside. that was painful to watch. oh well. despite this being my 2nd best cup run, this season is not shaping up very well. my side's best bowler, tel lee, has lot his ability to take wickets or even the skill of being economical. things are starting to fall apart quite rapidly. really need a win on saturday or we're almost certainly facing the prospect of not finishing in the top 3 for the first time ever, someone hold me

Was expecting a couple more pops, but only got one.

Prsanna Jeithoon - 19 yo, BT Rating=29,695

Murali became my first 30k BT player (nothing special really) and Lucas had an experience pop to feeble. Jeithoon PFL is a massive worry, he will have to be rested for the BT cup match.

Haha, Wonderful-Competent. I really should let his concentration catch up sometime, but I guess I'll do it after he turns 20.

My Prof/Med sold for a shade under £900k -- not bad for two weeks' nets. I think it might even have been our very own Alternative who got him.

Training reveals little except a bowling pop for John -- he's now Sensational/Excep. At 22 years old, he's got another pop left in him, but I think that's far enough for a steady spinner. So, that'll free up two nets, and I've got £5.5M burning a hole in my wallet.

Lastly, I've finally plummeted to the depths of "no members sign up". That hurts!
