So disappointing from the Bangladesh top order, I'm still hoping that Rajin Saleh manages to ton up.

I don't pay too much attention to Under 19 cricket, I think Prince EWS has given a fair few examples of players opening the batting in U19 cricket and turning out to be a FC bowler, or something similar.
Just pointing out that he can bowl pretty well, his a handy FC bowler too. His not as good as Sakib, but his more then just a batsmen who bowls. If they are trying to develop a top 6 batsmen, thats also is a 5th bowling option, he feels that role. I rather have Sakib in the side personally though.

He is a reasonable List A bowler and had moderate success in the few ODI games he played a wee while ago but I don't rate him as a FC bowler. Obviously he is in the same mould as Saqibul, the batting all-rounder who bowls some slow left armers, but isn't as effective.

It's possibly a knee-jerk reaction borne by my love of the game and my frustration with seeing it so desperately cheapened, but is there any way we can lobby the ICC to stop calling this "Test" cricket?

Mohammad Sharif's been brought into the attack...

8.3 Mohammad Sharif to Warnapura, 1 run
8.2 Mohammad Sharif to Warnapura, FOUR
8.1 Mohammad Sharif to Vandort, 1 run, tucked away to mid on quick single, quick single taken, the batsman just about makes it on time at the bowlers end

And he's promptly given away 6 runs in three balls.

TBF a few years back Pakistanm was shot out for 50 something in both innings of a test against Aus, this sort of stuff happens

Brilliant. Let's bring him on from both ends.

I have to say I can't remember ever being more depressed about a Bangladeshi performance. I thought we'd put this **** behind us.

I hear lot of depressed Bangladesh fans, I dont know if this helps but they are playing Sri Lanka's best ever bowling line up i say in their 26 year test history. Murali has never had this much support around him but this could trigger intersting debate.

I certanily have dilhara ahead of Promadaya, Ravi Push or all the fernandos (TCB etc)
