Another big win to follow up victories over riddings (won by 169 runs) and Burrages11 (won by 224 runs), demonstrating just how easy my Tier VI league is this season.

Thorpe overcomes his golden duck on debut to hit a quickfire 27 (18 balls) before being run out
Woods bowls 5 tidy overs for 13 runs but doesn't take any wickets to add to the 4/17 he took on debut last week.

Citizens Erased went through a huge milestone today as Shalin Abdul Kadir took his 200th wicket for the club. Averaging 11 over 200 wickets is no mean task, and I'm thrilled with the lad. Hope he keeps delivering the goods for seasons to come.

In other news, we won by 9 wickets on TIE. Match was never in any doubt.

Some interesting events at the Jets lately. We lost our league match on Friday, but we came up with the highest score in D2. 3rd time we beat that record in a row, i think i got the batting tactics pretty much down pat. Bowling still a major worry.

Zarook a former Sri Lankan U19 All rounder and pretty much won the game for them, Denawake helped just slightly.

Big day for Prassana Jeithoon (1/64 off 10) however who took his 100th wicket for the club in all competitions, to mark his elevation to a wonderful bowler. Still disappointed that he can't make much of impact on top batsmen yet, but Zarook and Denawake are a long way ahead of him.

Muralitharan continues to show glimises of some all rounder quality that could win us matches. Lucas has been amazing this season and is the type of player im going to look to buy in from now.

But the big story for Hamid Ellis, i was just about to sell him when he pulls off that performance. That century keeps him at the club and i'll just look to improve his stamina so he performances like that more often.

In other news we got this news from the club dairy " Your club membership numbers remained unchanged. " Crap time to start buying in some new bowlers and fast. This should help however "Sold Tristan Dowdall for £1200000."

Got 2.5 mil in the bank and should hopefully get 3.5 - 3 mil for my other seamers. So that 6 mil either to spend on one bowler or two bowlers. I already brought a 5th bowler so i might spend it all on one decent bowler. What can you get for 5 mil guys?

went down by 17 runs today. batting let us down in the end. disappointing end after we had fought back into the match after a ****house start. they were 153/0, but collapsed to be all out for 210. duggan and morrison had worked us into a position at about 140/2, but the wheels gradually feel off with duggan and morrison being the only ones to make worthy contribution. so my hopes of reaching I.1 have taken a blow, but by no means is this the end. next season, by god! next season
