OHHHHHHHHHHHH HELLLLLLLL YEAH! Was there, and **** I enjoyed singing that song at the end of the game!!!! BRILLIANT!

Richmond had that game won 10 minutes into the 1st quarter, because the mere presence of Brown gave confidence to the team. He absolutely tore a new hole into that Bell bloke in the 1st quarter, and from then on we were cruising. He didn't have to do much for the rest of the night, his presence in the forward line allowed Richo to be one-out with Carrol and dominate.

How bad were Melbourne though, jeez, really didn't expect that going. I thought it'd be a close game, but I had a feeling tonight was the night :D

On 6/6 votes so far btw! Surely WC and Sydney will win, and I'll get 8 and win a multi for Richmond, WC and Sydney! If not it'll be shattering.
So feel gutted or what?

Feeling rather pleased at the moment. Brilliant performance by the Pies tonight - the scoreboard definitely flattered Sydney and reflected that kicking for goal is the one aspect of the 'Pies game that wasn't top-notch. If Travis Cloke can learn to kick straight he'll be a gun.

I haven't enjoyed watching a game of footy so much for at least a year or so... :D

BTW I watched most of the Richmond-Melbourne game last night... is it just me or is Pettifer a total tool?

****in' Sydney, what the hell! There's goes my multi. Jesus Christ. Didn't watch the game but God damn they must have been crap.

Not you. Hate Pettifer
Lol, most selfish player. One of the biggest goal-hogs in the AFL. I watched him all night when at the game on Friday, and dead set, he leads when the other player should be taking a shot, and he stays outside of packs and waits for the right moment to lay a tackle or get a receive and go for goal.

He's a handy player though when he's our 3rd forward and Richo and Brown are getting most of the attention.

TBH, Pettifer reminds me so much of Brown, except he is just that little bit more selfish....
LOL Brown is a gun, Pettifer could be traded or delisted at years end. They look similar thats about as far as you can compare them.

I went to the game and though i dont know heaps about AFL i really didn't think that Pies were that good either, it was just that Sydney were woeful. The reason that the scoreboard flattered Sydney was that the Pies weren't good enough to capatalise.

The Pies weren't brilliant off the set shots but their defensive effort speaks for itself. If it wasn't for magnificent contributions from Wakelin and Shaw in particular, Sydney would've been able to score at an average pace, but instead they were limited to what, 2 goals in the first half? That's a pretty above average effort. I didn't think 10.16 was as bad as it looked either; apart from Cloke's woeful effort off the set kick near the end, their kicking wasn't terrible.

except that a) Sydney is a team that prides itself on its hardness around stoppages and its disciplined defensive effort and Collingwood beat them at their own game, and b) it was a brillant effort given how many of the Pies have played only a handful of games.....
