People expecting Brown to win them the game when he hasn't played for a year are kidding themselves. If Richmond are going to win, somebody else is going to have to stand up.

FFS. As soon as Neitz is out the entire bloody forward structure collapses and we struggle to outscore an U/14's side. You'd think someone in the coaching panel would be able to come up with a structure sans Neitz that works, but no, we just roll over and die to Richmond.

Jake King & Nathan Foley - future brownlow medalists, tbh

OHHHHHHHHHHHH HELLLLLLLL YEAH! Was there, and **** I enjoyed singing that song at the end of the game!!!! BRILLIANT!

Richmond had that game won 10 minutes into the 1st quarter, because the mere presence of Brown gave confidence to the team. He absolutely tore a new hole into that Bell bloke in the 1st quarter, and from then on we were cruising. He didn't have to do much for the rest of the night, his presence in the forward line allowed Richo to be one-out with Carrol and dominate.

How bad were Melbourne though, jeez, really didn't expect that going. I thought it'd be a close game, but I had a feeling tonight was the night :D

On 6/6 votes so far btw! Surely WC and Sydney will win, and I'll get 8 and win a multi for Richmond, WC and Sydney! If not it'll be shattering.

The fact is, Richo has been standing up all season, but having Browny lead out, giving him space was enough. Even if Browny hadn't have kicked his 3 goals, his impact was obvious very early.

What a bloody champion.

Richo's bloody useless, dead set. He does so much hard work, takes a thousand marks and kicks like 2.9. For God's sake, learn to kick bloody straight. I can kick straighter than Richo.

In any case, Brown obviously had a big impact but it's not like what said wasn't true.

Love them. Had Nathan Foley in my DT from the start of the year, and picked up King just before he rose from rookie price. Both gun gets :D

They both work so bloody hard, and are willing to go hard at the ball to ensure Richmond get it. Wish we had more players like him.

Meh, he gave off two goals straight in front, so it could have been 5.6, which is typical Richo really. He still puts everything he's got into the team and is hardly useless. For what he lacks in kicking accuracy and a footy brain he often makes up with his effort and his athletic ability. The fact that he can still run like he is doing at 32 years of age is brilliant.

No one really expected Browny to win the game off his own boot ala 2005, that was just something to say to be an optimistic Richmond fan. But even when he returned last year, it was obvious the impact he makes on the Tigers team, because there's so much mediocrity around the ground, and so when he's in the 22 the opposition have to man up on him, and it frees up some other players like Pettifer.

He's a full forward ffs. No matter how much effort he puts in, some of the shots he misses aren't even park footy standard. Hitting the post from 25 out? A key forward?!

I actually like him, he wears his heart on his sleave and I like it, but sheesh.
