He's looked a pretty classy player from what I've seen of him. Also has a great pair of hands in the field.Hodge is overrated, a good player not a superstar as i've seen suggested.

Yeah, Croad down back will stiffen them up.Danny Jacobs is a very good player, yet Luke Hodge is overrated?
Fact is, come finals, Hawthorn are going to struggle in defence against some gun forwards as there's no way they'll be able to play games like they did vs. St Kilda and Geelong under finals pressure.
Campbell Brown is in outstanding form, but I reckon they may have to send Croad back to CHB for goodonce Franklin and Williams are both back in the side. Or Roughead I guess, though I reckon he's better as a 3rd forward option for Hawthorn then in defence. Then again they've also got Boyle.
Farcical.AFL said:THE AFL has ruled out switching a looming blockbuster from Telstra Dome to the larger MCG because of fears of bad weather.
The league has left the July 1 Collingwood-Hawthorn twilight game at Telstra Dome.
The game is a Collingwood home clash but Hawthorn members get in for free because of the Hawks' deal to play four home games a season in Launceston.
The clubs have a combined membership of over 68,000, are playing well and finals bound, which means demand at the 53,500-seat capacity stadium will be high.
The AFL could switch the game to the 98,000-seat MCG, which will host the comparatively lower-drawing Kangaroos and Western Bulldogs that same day.
Collingwood confirmed on Monday it would have preferred to play at the MCG to maximise attendance but didn't make a formal request after hearing the AFL had already ruled out a possible switch.
AFL broadcasting and commercial officer Gillon McLachlan doubted whether there was an "absolute necessity" to switch the games, as the league preferred playing night games in winter under a roof.
"It's a twilight game in the middle of winter which means we are in for an increasingly bad forecast over the next couple of weeks," McLachlan said.
"If we moved that game and there was belting rain it's doubtful you'd even get 40,000 people."
Telstra Dome got a taste of what to expect last Friday night, when 53,459 fans - the Docklands' biggest AFL crowd - watched the Hawks trounce Carlton.
McLachlan said tickets were still available and doubted whether a big crowd would attend the MCG in inclement weather.
"If it was Friday night's game, Carlton-Hawthorn, at the MCG we don't see how they would have turned up when you see how wet and cold and miserable Friday night was in Melbourne," he said.
"We've always had a policy, with some exceptions, of playing some games at night or at twilight in the middle of winter at Telstra Dome.
"So that's consistent with our general policy of (playing) day games at the MCG and night games at Telstra Dome where we can in the middle of winter in Melbourne."
McLachlan said swapping venues would also pose logistical problems.
The Melbourne Cricket Club said it would have been happy to host the big game.
Collingwood have played before four crowds of 70,000 or more this season and draw an average attendance of 54,290.
Telstra Dome's then-management tabled a `best fit policy' in 2000, in which crowds exceeding the Docklands' capacity could be shifted to the MCG.
McLachlan said the "nuances of fixturing" made it difficult to always schedule sides to play at their home grounds.
Sure is, hopefully Campo doesnt though coz that'd be his 250th too. Hird shouldn't have share the day with the soft dud. That's going to be Hird's 250th as well, so long as he plays next round isn't it?
