There is a fair amount of discussion going on in moderation circles as to possible appointments. It is taking a bit longer than expected, but I would imagine we'd have a result within the next 24 hours.

Should do it Apprentice style for mine. Fire an also ran everyday so people's hopes get up before being cruelly dashed at the last.

In general, it comes down to:

* Is the member a respected member of the CW community? not yet

* Do they have past moderator experience? yes

* Have they worked on something CW related and done a good job. Were they reliable. no

* Do we feel as though they would uphold the rules of the forum and set a good example to other members of the forum. yes

* Would they fit into the current moderation team? yes

* Do we feel as though the member is trustworthy. probably

There's always many good applications when it comes to people applying for moderator positions and it's always a tough decision.[/QUOTE]

* Do they have past moderator experience? I tend to the extremes, so doing things in moderation is not my style. Could explain why I lose so much money down the TAB and the remaining money on drink and why I'm a polygamist. Not sure.

* Have they worked on something CW related and done a good job. Were they reliable. I gave Craig White a working over in a couple of test matches. But judging by some other people's opinions here, I was far from reliable.

* Do we feel as though they would uphold the rules of the forum and set a good example to other members of the forum. Who knows? Throw me a bone and see if ole Heath'll bite.

* Would they fit into the current moderation team? Depends what shape you are. If the gap is kinda tall and with curly edges in the vicinity of the head region, then maybe. Otherwise no.

* Do we feel as though the member is trustworthy. I dunno your feelings, but mine suggest that I am untrustworthy

I misread that as 'bored' and for a brief second tried to comprehend how anyone could know that my shoulders are bored. I then considered that they actually are bored. Heath is pining for some cricket action at the moment. That'll be it.
