A keeping you all updated post.

There is a fair amount of discussion going on in moderation circles as to possible appointments. It is taking a bit longer than expected, but I would imagine we'd have a result within the next 24 hours.

Speak for yourself. I keep opening this thread having seen a new post and looking forward to sticking my tongue out at the new young moderating tyros, only to see another 'good luck' post or 'you aint a moderator yet' post.

Put these young'uns out of their misery, James.

Here's a question. If there was a fight between Alf and Coney, who would come off best?

I usually love to back the Kiwi, but Alf has a bit of mongrel in him.

Coney's Praying Mantis wouldn't stand a chance against Alf's patented move, The Flaming Galah.

Hingston was the original Rich around these parts, too. Well, actually strictly speaking Vice-Administrator Tywman was, but he's The Big Rich so we tend to leave him out of these things.
He's Rich, you're Richard. Simple but effective system.

Nah, he's not even Rich on MSN any more. Roles are well-and-truly reversed now.

That was how it was, in the old days, though. And I guess you don't remember the glorious old days when Rich Tywman used to post, either.
