That's Jayawardene and Dhoni.
Current partnership 183 runs, 25.2 overs, RR: 7.22 (Jayawardene 84, Dhoni 87)

Excellent work from Jayawardene and Dhoni, at one stage Asia didn't look like getting past 250 but now it seems 300 will be a formality.

Fair play to Dhoni and Mahela but it is hard to consider they will score another century as easy as the ones they scored today.

Mahela has a couple of ODI hundreds against England from last year...

Anyway Jayawardene has been dismissed, sliced a full toss to point. Morne Morkel bowling quite well though.

No, just pointing out that he has benefitted from rubbish attacks in the past as it was a very, very poor ODI attack that England had.

Dhoni you are a gun, 6,4,6.

EDIT: Argh, beaten to it by Gelman.

Absolutely top effort from Dhoni, admittedly the bowling was rubbish (Morne Morkel and Peter Ongondo excluded) but to come in at 72/5 and blast 139* is very difficult. Shows why he is the best finisher in ODI cricket in my opinion.

Dhoni has left the field. Cramps. Tharanga has taken over the wicketkeeping gloves. Mahela, the other centurion, has not taken the field yet. Sehwag is the acting captain.
A couple of concerns there for India and Sri Lanka fans. Dhoni and Jayawardene probably didn't get enough fluids into them during their respective innings, they should be fine later on though.

Asif, Mashrafe found wanting

In the talk of weak sides, must be mentioned that India, Pakistan & BD sent their best pace options. Zaheer's performance was a bit inconclusive, but Asif & Mashrafe have been found wanting.

Africa definitely did not send their full strength bats bar perhaps DeVilliers, Boucher and Pollock - and 2 of the 3 almost took the first two games away. (3rd game at this point 130/2 after 21 overs, is Africa's to lose).

Decent effort from Africa with the bat once more. Good to see AB and Kempie in the runs, some of the hitting was outrageous although paradoxically Kemp’s sluggish start effectively made the task a bridge too far. Also good to see Shaun in the runs once more and from what I’ve seen (which is only diminutive highlights) his really played with some aptitude and looked beyond comfortable with this role.

Elsewhere the other positive would be the performance of Morne Morkel. His pace has been good throughout, bowled constantly in the mid 140's and his figures given the surfaces seen in the ODI as well as the 20/20 are pretty acceptable. His still erratic and his really not a particular good or experienced death bowler but to come to India in your off season and to play and excel in relatively 'alien' conditions was a fair achievement.
