What a horrible thing to say, Asif is already a better bowler than Pathan and has only played a handful of matches.Hopefully he does end up like Irfan Pathan.![]()

To be fair, they bat all the way down. Literally. They have Chigumbura at 10 and Botha at 11.Perm said:Africa have no chance now.
I was obviously jokingWhat a horrible thing to say, Asif is already a better bowler than Pathan and has only played a handful of matches.
Yes, clearly IN JEST!!!!. Keep up Perm.I was obviously joking.
I know you knew, tooI know.
His been poor for sometime now and 'international' number four my ass.Kemp is officially dire.
Dilhara Fernando was the wicket taker.Vusi Sibandi was looking pretty good before Asif snared him, while Kemp's woeful run continues. Africa have no chance now.
Indeed and with Zaheer picking up a slight injury and Mohammed Asif getting smashed whilst only getting the mandatory wicket of AB, Fernando had to perform.Asians win...good performance by fernando!
Speaking of Zaheer...do u know if his injury is serious or anything?Indeed and with Zaheer picking up a slight injury and Mohammed Asif getting smashed whilst only getting the mandatory wicket of AB, Fernando had to perform.
However, decent knocks from Boucher and Boeta, considering both batsman do not like it slow and low but also good to see Morne Morkel smack a few runs at the death. Batting at eleven really isn't an accurate reflection of his ability with the bat for as his shown in test cricket his more than decent.
yeh...i was quite suprised when i looked at the stats TBH...it could be just a one off performace by Asif....we all know how good he really his. There are so many factors that could have led to his poor performance...lack of passion could be one. If thats the case...look on the bright side...at least he has passion for pakistan...which is when it really matters.Asif not being the same economical bowler he once was when he first started...He has been quite expensive in the last few matches he has played.:'(
Just a precaution I believe but I would be surprised if he played tomorrow.Speaking of Zaheer...do u know if his injury is serious or anything?
Does the South Africa/Zimbabwe series in 2005 ring a bell?.Test matches are never pointless IMO.
TBF to Asif the weather and humidity was very intense but he does have a real problem with the old ball. Getting some tap on a road early on can be expected but Pakistan need to box clever with him. I wouldn’t’carp them if they use Asif merely as a ten over straight merchant.yeh...i was quite suprised when i looked at the stats TBH...it could be just a one off performace by Asif....we all know how good he really his. Jayawardene does bowl Medium pacers in Domestic One dayers(First Class) and up until the 1999 World Cup (including the 99 World Cup) he used to be called in to bowl 3 or 4 overs first change or second change not infrequently.lol at Jayawardene bowling.... shows how serious the players take this ... hahaha
yeah what i would have given for him to ball like that in WC final! shame really never going to get over thatGreat Bowling by Dilhara Fernando - 4/36 in a game where every other bowler got carted with economy rates of 7 and 8 per over and Team scores of 300 plus , the guy has an unbelievably economical and match winning figures. Well played Dilhara !!
The trouble with this guy is you don't know which bowler turns up on the day ....the Brilliant one or the rubbish no balling loose pie thrower ....yeah what i would have given for him to ball like that in WC final! shame really never going to get over that
