I can't believe I ate the whole thing
I would sell Liveria now and Reimann next week when he should pop and buy in superb batsmen when you have the money. Siyabonga should pop in a month looking at wages so i would keep him on a net until then. That way you should have three superb batsmen at the end of the season.
Cheers Tharmi. TBH, I'd like to simply keep Reimann and Livera as my batting line up is currently comp, respectable, strong, proficient, proficient, respectable, respectable (then bowlers). My backup batsmen are all competents so they'd replace Livera and Reimann, which I don't want right now given I'm in a tough league as it is.

This is getting stupid, Sekani in the last weeks had played two games which we've won and he's had one net each week yet his form has dropped one in batting and bowling and he's lost 2,000 in his BT rating.

Why on earth has that happened?

Form is random, playing matches and getting nets merely increases the chance that it will improve. Don't know why anyone gives a **** about BTR anyway, sick of the dozens of threads about it every week.

PY, form is stupid imo. although if the player is good enough i can't see how a drop in a level, even two, would make that much difference.

Just won a fairly fierce bidding war to sign this guy for 100K, which has plunged me back into debt, but c'est la vie.

Matthew Marrison - 19 yo, BT Rating=4,992

Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: woeful

Desperately needed a new bowler that would be able to take wickets and do well in England Div VI. I've stuck him on 1 batting and 1 bowling net as well, mainly to get his secondaries up apart from anything else.

What do you think? Good signing?

Copying Geg, my best lineup for this season will be

1.Ron Stroud - Superb/Prof
2.Howard Orourke - Resp/Feeb
3.Greg Ludlow* - Strong/Prof
4.Rob Appleyard - Strong/Prof
5.Wayne Moloto+ - Resp/Prof - Prof (2x Batting 1x Keeping nets)
6.Hamid Meyer - Prof/Med - Superb/Comp (1x Bowling, Stamina & Fielding Nets)
7.Liam Harris - Resp/Med (2x Batting Nets)
8.Rocky Walton - Med/Woe - Prof/Med
9.Lloyd Groves - Woe/Woe - Superb/Comp (1 x Bowling net)
10.Kevin Savage - Worth/Med - Prof/Prof
11.Toby Verhoeven - Worth/Worth - Strong/Prof (1x Bowling net)

At this point in time, my biggest concern is the med/comp secondaries of Meyer, Groves & Walton. I'm also not sure if i should keep opening with Orourke, he has done a good job, but next season when i'll be looking to Promote, i don't think he'll be my best opening option. I'm flirting with the idea of bumping Harris up to 4, Appleyard to open, and Orourke down to 7.
