cover drive man
International Captain
Joke of a game.
Someone who can create something is more of a must. For my boys Hargreaves is a Must
Can not think of many. They are surprisingly a rather expensive commodity unless you want the cheap hatchet man akin to the standard of Nicky Butt. Javier Mascherano, will cost Liverpool a significant amount and as we know the versatile Michael Essien, Mahamadou Diarra and indeed if you will call him a CM, Obi-Wan Kenobi were not cheap. Hargreaves price is greatly overvalued for his ‘English’ but Ferguson would be hard pressed finding many Premiership ready alternatives. Was boring, neither team excited, and it's a real shame too. Ronaldo not using his pace more than once, few shots, lots of passing (much of it poor) and the only good thing about it was the odd tackle. Ah well. CL final coming up, might give a bit more.
Hargreaves far from a must for me, any quality CM/DM will do and there are probably cheaper options. Need a striker and a winger just as much, I'd say.
Which was that then? There's the usual bad offside decision which could have cost Manure a goal.
Actually when the attacker's nearer the goal-line it's offside - as Rooney was. They froze it on the BBC, onside clearly. The one where he got a header off Fletcher was debatable, but in my opinion still should be onside.
Pretty clear when they freeze it and put a line across that he was onside during the one with Ronaldo.Actually when the attacker's nearer the goal-line it's offside - as Rooney was.
Not when the ball was played.Pretty clear when they freeze it and put a line across that he was onside during the one with Ronaldo.
Yeah, rather him than Hargreaves by a fair distance. My personal ideal addition would be De Rossi, although I can't see it happening. He's fighting for all the big cups and is at the team he grew up playing for.
Didn't see the match, saw the highlights, does seem a rather dire game judging by what got included in the "highlights", however we did have what looked to be a good goal disallowed in addition to what Scaly is referring to (didn't see that bit).
Yeah I did mean that, fair enough, didn't see that but it was only high-speed SSN highlights.
If you mean the Jiggs "goal" then it was never fair; he basically pushed Cech over the line. Might've been a goal in the 50s, but not today.
