LOL love the wordingNah, GIMH is a long time stalwart of the Official Thread scene.
Thats an interesting one. People keep saying that one shouldn't fiddle too much with a players technique and keep them natural etc. but if they can see that a particular "way" can cause problems in the future should they step in to correct it and may be beat the "naturality" out of the player or should they do what Smith's coaches did, sit back and enjoy and hope that when he does run into problems, he would be good enough to sort them out?Not necessarily my thoughts on Smith, but I have had a lot of conversations with a number of different coaches and it seems the general concensus is that he scored so many runs so heavily for KES (King Edward School) that coaches didnt fiddle with his technique and now there are holes that have been exposed ie the head getting outside the line of the ball when playing to the leg side and they will be hard to fix.
Ive heard it mentioned that his earlier coaches sat back and enjoyed his runs but were in dereliction of their duties by not ironing out faults that could hurt him later.
Thought it was a bit kiddish myself.Haha, good-'un, Kyle. If we're thin on the ground for Skulls this week, that's up there.
See the GMCG thread...Ffs, now the Sarwan interview again, it's like this thing is on a loop.
I have the sense-of-humour of a kid of times, TBH.Thought it was a bit kiddish myself.
Yeah, didn't think it was that funny myself. Kind of speaks loads for Richard's sense of humour.Thought it was a bit kiddish myself.
I'm good at generosity in my own direction... though I did try to emphasise my understatement.1 or 2, that's a bit generous isn't it?
Heheh. This "beat you to it" stuff evidently happens a fair bit in these fast-moving threads...Yeah, didn't think it was that funny myself. Kind of speaks loads for Richard's sense of humour.
Reminds me of Meatloaf.I have the sense-of-humour of a kid of times, TBH.
How could you not enjoy the three stooges?Gah, let us watch some freakin cricket.
1 out of 14,390 ain't bad?Reminds me of Meatloaf.
Yet you don't watch the Simpsons...I have the sense-of-humour of a kid of times, TBH.
This curfew-related chat is minorly interesting, however.Ffs, now the Sarwan interview again, it's like this thing is on a loop.
Try again.1 out of 14,390 ain't bad?
How? I've heard the same mindless chat about 3 times now, you'd think that they would come up with something else to talk about. This curfew-related chat is minorly interesting, however.
And this Lara-Adams thing is fascinating, and a brilliant choice of music too.
