Right, thought that was what you meant. Just got confused because at first I thought it was a reference to me not being a regular in these threads, which tbh I am usually...

Not necessarily my thoughts on Smith, but I have had a lot of conversations with a number of different coaches and it seems the general concensus is that he scored so many runs so heavily for KES (King Edward School) that coaches didnt fiddle with his technique and now there are holes that have been exposed ie the head getting outside the line of the ball when playing to the leg side and they will be hard to fix.

Ive heard it mentioned that his earlier coaches sat back and enjoyed his runs but were in dereliction of their duties by not ironing out faults that could hurt him later.
Thats an interesting one. People keep saying that one shouldn't fiddle too much with a players technique and keep them natural etc. but if they can see that a particular "way" can cause problems in the future should they step in to correct it and may be beat the "naturality" out of the player or should they do what Smith's coaches did, sit back and enjoy and hope that when he does run into problems, he would be good enough to sort them out?

Ffs, now the Sarwan interview again, it's like this thing is on a loop.
This curfew-related chat is minorly interesting, however.

And this Lara-Adams thing is fascinating, and a brilliant choice of music too.

How? I've heard the same mindless chat about 3 times now, you'd think that they would come up with something else to talk about.
