Don't know if anyone was watching but Barcelona just lost 4-0 to Getafe, amazing but shocking stuff..

He did say it sounded a bit after the event seeing as Wigan had stayed up, but gave the impression that the players didn't think it was fair on West Ham's players to deduct points that they've earned on the field...
Doesn't matter if they've earned them if they've earned them breaking the rules.

Glad the Irons stayed up. If just for the hilarity of all these people phoning phone-ins with their grievance, even when they have no idea what offence was committed. Especially the professional northerners talking about a London mafia, waffling on about 100s of totally unrelated cases. Oddly enough no-ones mentioned the Ominyiyi case, but I guess that goes against the flow of the waffle.

Never heard so much tosh, the players were eligible, get over it:laugh:

How is that?, its not like Owen has had an injury prone career. Either way with the state of the national side with the crucial international fixtures to come this year one should notlaugh at word of a Michael Owen injury since England needs him.
He's been out with serous injuries before now though.

No they weren't.

I have no problem with West Ham staying up. Define eligibility. For all the footballing side of West Ham knew, Tevez & Mascherano were legitimate signings - they've paid for them, they paid their wages - nothing on the scale of Boston's dual contracts (one saying £80 a week that they showed the auditors and the one inside the brown paper bag saying ten times that).

Besides, if the players were ineligible, then the FA should have bloody well picked that up a long time before April. If they're not told it's wrong - and it clearly wasn't obvious, given that it took eight months to figure it out - then how the hell are they supposed to know

The same logic applies for when the Conference decided to deduct Altrincham 18 points last year for playing someone who didn't have full International clearance. For Christ's sake, the guy had moved from Iceland or something. Not even remotely fair nor proportional.

That's largely due to the fact that they lied to the Premier League. Then withheld documents. I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that a points deduction can be justified on that alone.

Kameni makes a ridiculously amount of errors, excellent reflexes but his a bit like David James only hindered by his rather 'diminutive' size.
What I will say is that I don't like Ernesto Valverde's decision to have one 'keeper for the League games and one for Europe. Oh and great game for Crespo eh? :cool2:

As for West Ham, I don't know what the likes of Warnock are crying about, because they had 36 other games to pick up enough points and weren't good enough, and besides his team won 3-0 v West Ham last time around anyway, simple as that. Clearly he did forget that. So did Charlton as well, IIRC they put four past the Hammers. To be frank the rest of the 'Gang of Four' and the relegated clubs weren't good enough to muster up enough points in the first place and so they are looking for a scapegoat. And I doubt they wouldn't have done the same thing.

And Piscine, you don't support any team so would it be any concern to you?

To be fair to Charlton - Pardew immediately on being relegated said it was their own fault...

He's usually against injustices in football particularly concerning English teams.
