When does the option to change the name come up? Is it after financial updates? I've been dying to do so ever since I missed an I off my XI, so it looks like I just have 10 players in my team. It's been winding me up!

Yeah, after your financial updates, it will be on your pavilion page.

Wikus 5-0-27-1
Ludlow* 7 (21 balls)
Taylor 36 (37 balls)
Last Wicket: Orourke b. Wikus 0 (FOW: 2/1)

Bit better effort from my batsmen than my last match against Hair_Dwyer. Hopefully they can get through another 10 of Wikus and Poke for the loss of only 1 or 2, then it may be an interesting match.

Going well here against Wilson. Bowlers have done well to keep Bertos quiet

Oh get ****ed

Code:
End of Over 6: 17-4, runrate=2.83, reqrunrate=3.66 (177-10)
Hook	3-0-5-4
Griffin*	1 (1 balls)
Farmer	13 (25 balls)
Last Wicket: Canning b. Hook 0 (FOW: 16/4)
5.6 .	Hook to Farmer
An inside edge onto the pads. No run.
5.5 1	Hook to Griffin
Gently played out to deep point. Griffin wanted a run but was sent back; however a misfield means they run a single after all.
5.4 W	Hook to Canning
When you play at this level you have to be able to read the spin. A standard delivery by Hook, but awful timing from Canning.
5.3 .	Hook to Canning
 	 	Forward, stroked to the off.
5.2 W	Hook to Ziauddin
Brilliant dive from Hook off his own delivery, he flew then - get that man a cape.
5.1 W	Hook to Sutton
A ripper!! Through the gate and knocked middle stump to 45 degrees. Great bowling by Hook.

Crapham set me 254, on a cracked pitch, probably going to lose.

EDIT:

5.5 W Meyer to Hocking
Hocking trips and falls over, easily run out

I told the guys that celebrating our return to Div IV last night was a bad idea, but noooo, they had to go hit the piss.

If i win this, i will be very surprised.

EDIT2:

In an interesting position here

End of Over 14: 66-1, runrate=4.71, reqrunrate=5.25 (254-6)
Walton 2-0-17-0
Hiller* 20 (19 balls)
Beaumont 38 (54 balls)

Beaumont having real troubles against Groves, cant seem to put him away, even for singles. Crapham still has this match, but i have a shot, if Hiller falls, its all over.

I told you that you shouldnt play on a green pitch, and look what happened in your last two games.

In more important news, Beaumont fell for 49, and Hiller just knocked up his 50, need him to convert it, still not looking good though. Johnson, not much of a batter it seems.

Managed to keep the other team to 268-4. I'm doing fairly well in the chase with my two best batsmen at the crease.

Its been long overdue, but its time to sell Griffith and buy in a young gun. Just seems to me his a waste of space. Atleast Tedstone and Canning take wickets most of the time and Terry can keep his spot as keeper. Whats Griffith good for if he doesn't score runs regularly.

Hiller* 106 (89 balls)
Allison 10 (16 balls)

Carn Hiller. Slog overs are upon us, hopefully i dont collapse.

17 singles and 2 dots off the last 19 balls, so ****.

EDIT:

Code:
46.2 4	Verhoeven to Allison
You can't afford to bowl at him there. Allison picks the length early and swats it away through mid wicket for four runs.
46.1 3	Verhoeven to Hiller
Ball is angled towards the legs, firmly turned away through mid wicket.
44.5 4	Verhoeven to Allison
That one's far too short and Allison pulls it easily to the square leg boundary for four.
44.3 4	Verhoeven to Hiller
 	 	Four! Great shot by Hiller.
44.1 4	Verhoeven to Allison
 	 	That's four all the way.

thats better

But yeah, I've been considering selling him. The only problem is that my batting is fairly weak atm- I've got Canning (remarkable), Griffin (superb), Tedstone and Terry (strong), and then some profs and resps, so getting rid of my second best bat primary wise wouldn't necessarily be a good idea.

And if I were to sell him (he's superb/comp with resp stamina), I'd get maybe... 2/3 million? I've currently got one million in the bank atm, and was just planning on buying a batting trainee this season (would settle for a decent respectable). So if I did sell him for say 2.5 million, meaning I'd have about 3.5 million, could I get something that much better?

Oh thank god, was bad enough getting beaten by crapham in Biglands, didnt want to lose to him in Battrick.

And that's the end of the match. Four Pillars and Poor Fillers won by 7 wickets.
Clapo's XI 254-6
Four Pillars and Poor Fillers 257-3

End of Over 49: 257-3, runrate=5.24
Verhoeven 9-0-62-0
Hiller* 131 (110 balls)
Allison 47 (44 balls)

Allison came in and played a huge innings, like he has done so many times before, love him right now. But of course, gotta love Hiller, smashing 131 under pressure. Has to be said, Crapham did well to knock down 3 of my 4 pillars () but one stood tall.

You could get an 18yo superb batsmen, who would be the same as what the 17yo respectable trainee would be at the end of the season. But cus his been developed a little bit, you might not have to use as many nets on him. Also a played like that would start performing straight away, rather then waiting a season to reach that level.

But the other thing is buying a 17yo trainee, it would mean you would have another decent bat in two season, rather then relying on 4 batsmen like you do now.
