The avatar challenge

Two weeks it is

I think it's a generous challenge tbh. Remember we have to win by at least 100 runs or five wickets, anything else is a victory for you

Open to others, but primarily aimed at you Richard. :)

I will change my avatar if Harmison plays in all 4 Tests against WI and doesnt take 15 or more wickets.

The person who takes me up on the challenge will have to change theirs if he does.

Both potential avatar changes to be cricket related, the choice of the Challenge winner and for a period of 1 month.
So noone going for this as its been up for over a week?

I must admit Im disappointed in you Richard. For someone who slags Harmison off all the time and believes he is a useless waste of space on the field, you would think you would back your words up by putting your avatar at stake.

I'd actually clean forgotten as I've been writing a fair few articles, as well as posting, the last week.

Anyway - you're on. :) Given that I've already had Harmison I think it'd be pointless giving him to me again, but that's up to you of course. I'd be more than happy for you to have Dominic Cork in return. The thought of a month makes me cringe, TBH, but it's surprising how quick it goes usually.

I hate the way people are constantly throwing avatar challenges at me, really. :( Feels rude to decline, and sometimes I genuinely fancy it - but my avatar is a vital part of my CWness and it just doesn't feel right seeing my posts without it.

 So in someway CW would cease to function without your avatar? :-O

Anyway, you're on. Probably at a big advantage if this rain doesnt cease.

No, no, of course not - probably not well-phrased - I meant for me. Though it was touching to see our friend Matt79 once mention that "it's not the same without his funky multi-coloured avatar".

Yeah, I got what you meant. I was just teasing you over the phrasing :)

Well it looks on first impressions like we've got a pretty flat pitch in the First Test, but conversely it's England batting first so there might be a huge total which often upsets things.

I will stick with aussie as well,While Australia remain number 1 in both forms of the game, then my avatar stays. We earned it ,so we deserve it.

Guess he's lucky he was long-gone at the time SA assumed the ranking spot.

Digging this up after the success of the Ashes and WC avatar challenge threads.

I'll get the ball-a-rolling.

If England fail to win the First Test V West Indies by more than 100 runs or 5 wickets, I shall change my avatar to whatever the first non-Englishman to respond chooses.

EDIT - the avatar will last until the end of the Test series
Go for it. :p Two weeks?

*prays for rain and a flat Lord's*
Well, that was prophectic Hakon. Glad you changed it to two weeks

I formally concede, if you choose me something now I will put it up before I go home. Means I have to have it one less day

Didn't even know she was a musician, TBH.

And I didn't quite invent it, though I'd love to take the credit - I was inspired by Gelman's giving Brumby the leader of his most hated band of all-time and thought it'd be great to give him an avatar of another widely-patronised one, of whom I'm rather fond.

TBH, there are probably far less on this forum who would recognise Lindsay, Edele, Keavy and Sinaed than wouldn't.
