Pretty much right in selecting them to go down. Curbishley leaving had the effect I expected. Sad though.

Looks like definatly Joey Barton will be leaving Man City, it would be interesting where he pops up.

All roseboy has proved is that I'm crap at making predictions. When you consider the amount of avatars I've had chosen for me lately, it's not groundbreaking.

Anyway, had a good end-of-season beveration session on Saturday evening, was rejected from about six pubs, good times.

Craig Curran people. Remember the name.

Supposedly a boyhood Toffee so they'd be my guess.

The weird thing is that he actually seems quite nice & normal when I've seen him interviewed, just obviously a **** of the highest magnitude when the red mist descends.

Well, we never went to the old wembley, clearly we're a bit choosy, we were just waiting for the new one.

I nearly had an heart attack during those Pens, honestly took ten years off my life. Very proud of the lads though, I have to say. Never expected tonights performance.

Superb:)

Yeah. Seemed to have more going on upstairs than a lot of pro footballers.
Yeah, I mean he gave his honest opinion about all this waste of forrests (the autobiographies) being published just after the World Cup. Says what we were all thinking though

How much will your ticket cost?
Unconfirmed yet: Morecambe's are between £10 and £25 so I'd expect similar.

That was magnificent. I kept most of the house awake screaming at the TV. The best City performance I've ever seen, just amazing. Hope Wembley isn't an anti-climax now.

Some very interesting rumors in the air today on BBC, these take the cake for me:

Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is Manchester United's top transfer target. (Daily Mail)

Manchester United want to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Nani in a £17.5m swoop. (Daily Mirror)

A £9m release clause in Newcastle forward Michael Owen's contract has alerted Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea. (Various)

Barcelona are set to make a £15m bid for Arsenal striker Thierry Henry. (Daily Star)

Injury-prone midfielder Kieron Dyer is likely to be one of the first players sold if former Bolton boss Sam Allardyce becomes the new Magpies manager. (The Independent)

Real Zaragoza defender Gaby Milito has pleaded for the chance to join Liverpool after they lined up a £10m player-plus-cash deal involving Mark Gonzalez. (Daily Mirror)

Marseille winger Franck Ribery has said that Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Chelsea and AC Milan are clubs he "dreams" of joining. (The Independent)

I seriously doubt whether United will get Eto'o or whether Henry will leave Arsenal. If that thing about Owen is true United should push hard for him but then again i do respect & admire the magpies & would like to see them do well & having Owen is key to that. Thats why its strange that i their new coach would consider selling Dyer i would think a fit Dyer would be a great asset to them.

How is a lazy player who's fit for about 5 games a season and on a ridiculous wage a great asset?

As for chief poseur the CDMs should have sold him before the last World Cup when clubs would pay even more money for him. £15m is still a stupid amount, he's got a couple of sub-par half-seasons left in him. If that.

Sir Alex giving his Dong an airing now the title's won.

ManUre's line-up has made the guard of honour a bit pointless for me.
