Did I manage to score 7,000 runs before Season 6 started? Because I've got >10k now and I've only ever played for Blue yet Simon has more runs than me?

Thanks for the stats though Jaso.

Kind of both really, I didn't fully grasp that it was Season 8 onwards but I also thought that Simon scored more than that in the few seasons taken into account because he was on fire.

I might take that mantle off him when Seasons 6 & 7 are included.

I'm to play a one day game? After my last abomination of a game in FC .... unreal.

:) I hope to take a wicket, then. :D

EDIT: just saw the score, took 3 but we lost.

We were off to such a solid start to the season, but we've lost a few in ar ow. Time to regroup, and get back on track!
Extra fielding sessions at training, i'm thinking.

Seems to have been mixed for us so far - although I'm glad to have had some early games, and I think I have performed reasonably well in them, with both ball and bat! :D

Here's hoping to more successful games in the future.
Come on the Blues.

Pretty up and down season so far we really need to find some consistency. Nice to see both Bowen and May-Quinlan start their careers at Blue very well, just need some of us experienced players to start to step up a bit more.

Personally i have had some decent scores, but really need to turn them into a few more bigger scores. Looks like im going to be a start machine my whole career. :(

Yeah it's been bad the past few weeks. Fuller has too much pressure bowling 10 overs then batting at 4, I think. Hope the captain makes a big score next game.

Swapping things around a bit after that last defeat. Cribb up to number 4 to get more time to build an innings. Fuller down to six as he's bowling a lot, and he will also get a chance to bat with the tail. Bowen in at seven due to his explosive scoring rate. He should operate better with the tail than Wilshere and Cribb. Wilshere in at five, because he too needs some time to settle. He can anchor the innings from that spot.

Looking to Mamesh to play that big innings he owes us, and to Young to continue his good season, hopefully pressing on to make it an excellent season. Demeza too needs to step up, especially if he wants to keep the new ball. Collins should continue to operate with the new ball unless impact is needed.

Hopefully Williams will continue his steady bowling in support of the seam attack. Soon the wickets will come. For now you're a better version of Giles.

That said, Sean is free to offer his own tactics once they're emailed to me within the next 10 hours or so.

Losing the new ball? What's the world coming too... Take 5'fer on return, follow that up wiht a shoddy performance or two and after 4 seasons of service the new ball is stripped....

Righto, firing me up some huh.

I'm in pretty woeful form with the bat, so maybe moving around is the way to go. In other seasons I've struggled early and then gone to the top and played well, so a move is worth a shot, for a while at least.
