How cool would it be if NZ won the world cup?

Very imo
Agreed, I think it would be only fair to have a bit of a gloat, and then leave it in the back of our minds. There would be no point bringing it up continously like the English rugby side do.

think i would rather sl won the wc as then there would be no pommie bashing from the vast gloating populations of sa, nz or aus!!

Sangakkara also due for a good knock, having not played a significant knock against quality opposition .(the innings against NZ should have helped him find some form- unfortunately got a bad decision against Australia as did Sanath J - both were decisions which neither Umpire would have given against an Australian batsman )
Huh? Sanga's call was rough as Hawkeye showed the ball clearing the bails by, oh about 1 millimetre, but yeah, it was the incorrect call if you accept Hawkeye.

But Jayasuriya's? That was about as clearly out as an lbw can get! Honestly mystified as to how you can say that was a bad call. Or why Aleem Dar or Billy Doctrove would have a prejudice against Sri Lankan players as compared to Australian players?

Sick of the Hall bashing.. He's taken 74 wickets at 24 in the last year.. Perhaps it's because he doesn't look anything spectacular.. Ridiculous to bash that record really
I’m not the biggest advocate of Hall (although, there is a time and place for his selection) but statistically as you say his been excellent.

To put into some context Andrew compared to the entire England squad has firstly a better bowling average and secondly the greater strike-rate. His by no means Mickey Mouse.

Actually it was a seven so either James forgot to unban him or Fiery abused James over email and he game him a perm-ban. Can't think of anything else tbh.
The former doesn't make any sense at all really - when you ban with vBulletin software, you set the timeframe and then the ban is automatically lifted when the timeframe is over. Knowing Fiery, the latter is feasible though...

Having already beaten two test playing nations, Ireland will be high on confidence. They have nothing to lose at all. They will be following the same principle of going out there and enjoying the game to the fullest with the Chicken Dances. They are indeed a fighting unit and they have also shown that if their batting clicks, then they can beat any side in the world. They wouldn't mind capping up their dream run with another upset here.

Considering Fiery no longer appears on the Member List then I daresay he's copped a longer one, probably permanent. It wouldn't be out of the question if he did abuse James over email or something like that, but I doubt we'll ever know.

As I explained last time you suggested that, you don't appear on the member list if you are currently banned, regardless of its length. :p

It wouldn't shock me if it was a permaban, however all his absence from the member list proves is that he is currently banned.

Exactly, I was saying that he is still banned, a whole 19 days after being originally banned for one week.

Sri Lanka will have to shrug off their blunders against the Kiwis here and will perhaps be pondering as to why did the rest Murali and Vaas against the Aussies. The problem with them is that their batting has been good but in patches and same goes with their bowling. However, when they have Vaas, Murali and Malinga all three playing, they will certainly be a much stronger bowling unit. The batting will continue to rest on the shoulders of Jayawardene, Sangakkara and Jayasuriya and with contributions from Silva, Tharanga and Dilshan, they can well score a big total. They will certainly not be taking Ireland lightly here.
