I was referring to ODI cricket when talking about his fielding. I had to throw in the batting example from Test's because he has played so few ODI's and has batted in even less. I wasn't attempting to compare him to the other spinners, I was just saying that his batting and fielding aren't as bad as almost everyone make them out to be. They are serviceable without being good, but all of this is irrelevant until he starts to bowl well in ODI's and cement his place because of his bowling.

Yea, NZ pretty much have to skittle Australia for 100-150 really.

This too might be near to impossible considering the recent AUS form,, but again this can be possible if Bond fires. It all depends how NZL bowls against AUS. One thing is for sure. NZL should keep the pressure on AUS batsman all through the 50 overs to win emphatically.

It happened in the first game of the Chappell Hadlee series, admittedly Australia were without Ponting, Clarke, Gilchrist and Symonds but it was still quite an acheivement.

If England win the match today and the West Indies win their remaining two matches, then it becomes a three way tie with the Net Run Rates taking over. West Indies are obviously at a big disadvantage on the NRR but such a scenario will definitely infuse life in the rest of the matches of this eventful World Cup.

This pitch is not much different from the one used for the England Bangladesh match. Thus the Englishmen are at a slight advantage for having the experience of playing here once. The pitch is well rolled with plenty of dead grass. There should be good bounce and carry early on but as the day progresses, pitch will start dying. Ian Botham feels that the Englishmen might well bat first this time as the last they found it difficult to chase with the ball dying and rightly Vaughan won the toss and will bat.
