Brent Tate called up for the ANZAC Test and still Ryan Hoffman gets ignored for Anthony Tupou (sp?).

Gutted for him that he hasn't been picked, but it is good for NZ.

He is basically single handedly carrying the Warriors forward pack... 270 metres gained today. The guy is in career best form, and performs week in week out.

In saying that, he should have been in the Aus squad last year as well. Stuart has obviously put a black mark through his name...

I haven't seen all the Warriors games so I haven't been following Price that closely, but he was playing really well last year and wasn't selected like you mentioned. It's obvious that Ricky Stuart isn't too keen on him and would rather have some younger players int he squad.

As a Roosters fan I'd be the first to admit Tupou didn't deserve a spot in the side. I thought they might have found a place for Minichiello though ahead of Tate.

Cheers mate, disappointed not to see Danny Buderus in there but it's understandable.

On a side note, happy birthday to Blaze. I know he'll read this.

Cameron Smith would have every right to be pissed off if he got left for Buderus after he (Buderus) just came back from suspension.

Ryan Hoffman should of been there instead of Tupou, but I guess Ricky Stuart likes Tupou a lot

Tupou is a better bench option than anyone else they could have picked for the position. I'm sick of him getting bagged out to be honest.

ffs Brent Tate.... hope he has a shocker so we never see him wear Australian colours again. Merritt >>>>> Tate so much it's not funny. The only other questionable decision imo was that Kite was starting ahead of Bailey.

So many good players missing out though, which can only be a good thing in terms of depth.

I can't understand why you guys all dislike Brent Tate so much, I think he's a good player. From a Kiwi perspective he is a dangerous weapon, we really need to shut him down because we just don't have the pace to compete with him.

lol from a kiwi perspective it is a good selection. There are so many more dangerous players that they could have picked. Slater, Merritt, Bowen etc.

anyway kiwi squad has been named. Apparently the ARL are blocking Brent Webb from playing for the kiwis again as he is no longer a NZ resident. That's a bit of a shame. He always played his best football in the test match arena.

I imagine the side will line up like this

ARL are still bitter over the whole Nathan Fien saga last year so they are now trying to block Webb's inclusion.

Tate is a very good attacking centre when he is in form, but he is a horrible player when he's out of form which he clearly is now. He's a poor winger who makes far too many errors and he doesnt really deserve to be in the team at the moment...

Im so over international Rugby League... For once i would love to see the Australian selectors pick a team on form rather then see the same old out of form people run around...
