Haha, the game was over twenty (plus) overs ago.Oh well....Game over. Windies out. No support for Sarwan.
His dismissal was top draw laughable but I didn't see enough of the kid to form an opinion but lets just say his batting has to be better than his bowling.I liked the look of some of Pollards shots in his short stint seems to be quite a decent player.
With Sarwan and Bradshaw there, WI had a chance. Nice shots by Powell.Haha, the game was over twenty (plus) overs ago.

That was a realistic statement btw. Champions Trophy Final 2004.
Was the run rate at 10.5 with fifteen overs to go then? That was a realistic statement btw. Champions Trophy Final 2004.
No it was pretty steep though. Browne and Bradshaw batting with only Collymore to come. From memory it was around a run a ball or more required with 10 or so overs left. A worse position IMO.Was the run rate at 10.5 with fifteen overs to go then?
From what I remember WI were always batting at about the required run rate which was just over four. I'll have to check now tho.No it was pretty steep though. Well Harmison and Flintoff only had 3 overs left going into the last 10, the rest were bowled by a then fairly poor part-time bowler in Collingwood, Wharf (rubbish, only ever got people out by hitting the middle of the pitch at around 80mph), Gough (truly awful) and even Trescothick.Still was a worse position though considering all the factors.
You say that virtually every game at some point! If WI win this, it will be equivalent to the upset of ireland beating pakistan
Agreed, didn't watch the second half but it looks like SA let a golden opportunity to 'fix' their NRR issues, but screwed up.Surprised by SA's faffing around at the end, their weak net run rate could knock them out.
