lol:

Styris to NJ O'Brien, OUT, oh that's quite a mess. Two brothers involved in a run-out. If this had happened in the backyard ... Niall pushes to the off side and thinks of a single, Kevin responds and is too far down the track as Marshall swoops down to return the ball to Styris, the bowler. The bails are off and Kevin is well short. If mama 'O brien is watching, she wouldn't really be too impressed. Nial sold Kevin the dummy there
Was this post taken from cricinfo? Cos it really sounds like it was lol.

Bucknor looked like a senile old man in giving that out. Taking his time, and almost laughing when putting up the finger.

Come on Flem, bring back Bondy before there are no wickets left to take :(

EDIT: Argh, there goes Bondy's 5 for. The spinners have got enough LBW's for one day.......

yeah, they are really giving witty commentry these days:

32.3 Patel to NJ O'Brien, OUT, Niall is gone. He can go in and explain to his brother about that run out. Tossed-up, on the middle stump line and Niall tried to slog-sweep it across the line, doesn't get under it and sends it straight to deep midwicket

Oh well, looks like Bond is just gonna get another 2 for

Vettori picks up his 3rd. The spinners have just been rolling thru the middle and lower orders of Ireland.

EDIT: Make that 4 now. Ireland going down quickly with the last 5 wickets falling for 9 runs, all to the spinners.

Comfortable win for NZL, the batting could have been better but...

I'm impressed with Ireland even though they have lost. I think they are more capable of winning than Zimbabwe are and some of their players are actually quite classy. I would like to see K O'Brien play again and some of their bowlers, pity after the world cup is over I won't see them till the nextone.

Rankin will be representing England soon enough. :)

It was clear to see that despite NZ saying so earlier in the week, they did lack a bit of respect up front. There were also signs that they were rusty batting first because a number of batsmen were trying to force the pace.

The fact is though, we won and we're still unbeaten so you can't really complain. The hard work starts now if you ask me. They need to prove that the rest of the tournament hasn't been for nothing.

I'm usually a (long-suffering) fan of Marshall but his shot last night was absolutely terrible. I hope Ross Taylor comes back for the next game and reduces Marshall to the role of sub fielder.

It was good to see the middle and lower order get some batting time, but the way the top order played has given me more reason to worry.
