Going to GFI against NorCricket United. Should win really, have been getting better ratings lately and I know he's not going to GFI (as he only has to win his final two matches to secure the title, even if he loses this one). Gets underway in about an hour.

Won my league match easily today. Need a big NRR boost to get second, but I don't care particularly. Should have a fair crack at promotion next season when the top team this time around goes up.

Ok as most of you know im in Divison 3 Sri Lanka, so in my promotion table im coming 11th out of 16 teams. Does that mean i have a playoff with the team coming 6th in Divison II.3. I hope thats the case as i would be playing a bot. But the problem is how can i stop myself from overtaking the team coming 10th on the promo table.

Man i hope i've done my maths right and i do make it into II.3, cus having a look that league, it by far the easiest Divison II in SL. Also the teams from 2 to 4 are all pretty even. The team coming 4th was in my league last season and i beat them. Also out of the possible new sides going up i have the best batting line up, a couple of them have better bowling though.

So does that work out right 11th plays agianst the team coming 6th in II.3. Also any suggestion on how i can stop myself from overtaking the team coming 10th.

Wickets intact, but scoring pretty slowly. Might regret setting Watkins to defensive.

End of Over 26: 112-2, runrate=4.31
Nightingale 3-0-10-0
Watkins* 10 (19 balls)
Ashton 59 (88 balls)
Last Wicket: Cuss b. Peacock 40 (FOW: 96/2)

Dead Badger

State 12th Man
Well, that was a lot closer than I expected, given the start they had:

Code:
Spurs Magic won by 13 runs.
Spurs Magic	331-3
Beard XI	318-4

		Beard XI	Spurs Magic
Top Order:	competent	respectable
Middle Order:	feeble competent
Lower Order:	worthless	abysmal
Seam Bowling:	competent	competent
Spin Bowling:	feeble useless
Fielding:	woeful woeful
So I guess my plan to mitigate the NRR loss did work. If only I could've restricted him a bit more, it would've been really interesting.

Picking up a bit now, wouldn't be surprised if you ended up skittling them for 100-150 or something. Dusty pitches are weird.

200+ run win today. Should cement 2nd place for me. Pretty good ratings for me, on TIE, even.

Won quite comfortably in the end but there was a collapse that made my heart thump! Bramble was awesome on debut holding up and bowling quite productively.

Ooooh, wow. Was gonna TIE against what i thought was one of the league's teams, and therefore get my ass handed to me, but I forgot, and they only just scraped a one-wicket win. It was their NT bat that did it as well, suppose him being an absolute gun'll push their top order ratings up a fair but.

Would be surprised now though. Looks like some filler bowling for a while before the death over collapse.
Didn't even get the death over collapse. My record against NorCricket is getting ridiculous now, there's no reason why I shouldn't be winning these. Pissed off, think I might sell a bunch of players.

going along really well at the moment. southgate, zyk's best spinner, has only one over left on the dusty pitch. which is great

Sri Lankan NT player Chaturanga removed by proficient/proficient lfm, Hamshaw lol. We can now safely say we're home. If Napier can step up their efforts against reverse sweepers, we could be in business, ie top of II.4

Hamshaw 2-0-7-1

Won my game yesterday to move up to 3rd and level on points with the top 2, but with worse NRR. Play both the top two in the next to weeks so could win the division theoretically but i GFI'd yesterday so my fitness is messed up.

Might win next week but the last week should be beyond me.

I would think about 6-8 weeks so not that long really. Unless he has been trained this season?

cruised to a 155 run win today. duggan scored 149* as we made 305/2, including a 95 run haul in the final 10 overs. they made 150 with vermaak taking career est figures of 4/26. reverse sweepers won quite comfortably in the end, so we're still 4 points back, and hoping for a result to go in our favour next week.
