In the months from September to December 2006, he was still averaging 29.20 in the whole three games he played (5 wickets). Why in the world would you have wanted him to retire?

So he could keep his S/R record :D

But he pulled that form around during that SL series.

He was bowling way too full back then, and wasnt get much swing or anything. Even during the CB series he was still a little on the full side.

But this WC he has been totally gun. The economy rate is really good. His seam postion has been wow

FFS. No surprise that its Aftab and Ashraful that give wickets to Styris.

Come on Mortaza, I need you to get every run you can get here.

Styris gets another one.

Jono starts crying.

Bond to clean up the last 2 in his last over. Getting that average below 18.84

EDIT: Styris just keeps on rubbing it in :D

Bond to get the last 1 then

Good professional job by the Kiwis’ thus far and it should not be to hard knocking these runs of considering the ease paced nature of the surface. Their net run rate could also be in with a timely boost.

Bond's figures getting ruined a bit in that last over, but none the less excellent spell of bowling from Bond.

10-4-15-2

Not bad, not bad at all

I've never been more frustrated watching a spell of bowling than Styris' today. At least not for a long time.

:(

All over in under 35 overs? Although, due to it being New Zealand an opener has to depart early and a faux pressure situation may arise for Scotty to vanquish.

Franklin out for the second time this summer with a migraine? LoL

I feel for the guy but come on.....just another risk factor to how he will bowl on any given day.
Get rid of the bloke for godsake...

Good last wicket partnership there for Bangladesh.

Bond bowled outstandlingly well. Bowler of the tournament so far, by a country mile. I'll throw Styris in there as All-rounder of the tournament aswell.

Cant see 175 troubling New Zealand, but you never know. Hopefully the top order stands up and doesnt leave all the work to Styris and Oram, yet again.

If New Zealand win this one that will make it 8 ODI wins in a row, a new record for New Zealand.

what a collapse 105/2 to 140/9.... they had a good start but the collapse...but the last partnership will at least give something for the bowlers to look at but not much... bangladesh looks like WI in the supper 8..they have similar score against NZ too :p
