Somerset proves himself to be a true kiwi by choking when it really matters () as I get up by 76-66. I thought I'd blown it by making Brett my kicker rather than Hewat but luckily Dougie Howlett as captain was a masterstroke.

Cometer maintains his perfect start with a win over Simon & our star Other draws level on points with the defeated Somers with a win over another non-CW bod. Cloete hits a bit of form to beat another Other, climbing from 12th to 9th in the process. Matteh & Sam Vimes go down to Others and marc & steds play out a draw.

Arghhh...LOL. Typical that my two worst scores of the season come against 1st and 2nd! Ah well, not to worry; there's always next season.

haha, my worst score was against you as well . Difference is I walked away with a win. With 5 rounds left to go I need to win next week against The Fen Brumbies to give myself a handy lead in the competition. Was at this point last season where the wheels fell off and I collapsed and ended up finishing 4th but I'm hoping this time I'll be able to maintain my position.

66 points already this week...grrrrrrrr. Have 4 Blues and 2 Chiefs including Howlett and Devine who scored tries and Nacewa as kicker who scored 26 all up.

I should be up around the 100 mark again this week , with Howlett, Devine and Gerrard all scoring tries and Donald having a good game with the boot. Whether that's going to be enough is the other thing as a lot of tries were scored this week.

You'll have me easily with that. I haven't been arsed to work it out, but Howlett has been my only try-scorer (I think) & Hewat was my kicker.

Actually, looking at the scorers, Murray went over for the Sharks too. Think I've got 94 so can't be too disappointed. Could've had another 12 if I'd had Schifers as kicker tho.

Yeah, I worked mine out as 109 but could have had more points if I had Devine and Gerrard in the starting lineup rather than the bench.

Elsewhere defeats at the hands of Others for Simon & marc mean they fall to seventh & nineth respectively, with a narrow two-point win for Cloete over an Other taking him above marc. Norway still props things up after stedly administers a sound thrashing in the bottom clash, hauling himself up to tenth in the process.

Well I had forgotten about Bates so thats 2 extra points I missed. As for Rathbone, well he didn't play and so in fairness to my counting ability, I believe Sportal miscounted and gave Rathbone points when in fact, he didn't even play nor was on the named 22.

Regardless, it's always better to undercount then overcount in a game like this .

Elsewhere Marc finds some form from somewhere to register a win over an Other & lift himslef to ninth & Norway rejoices as Hak beats this year's star Other (although another Other has now gone above him, so he's no longer technically the star Other I suppose!) to lift himself from the foot. Mitchell now props things up.
