It's all over now bar the shouting. The Fen Brumbies finally come good when it matters the most to soundly thrash Cometer2006 by 121-66 & secure the title for England! Our resident League expert steds makes it a 1-2 for blighty by beating The Baconator's Vindscreen Vipers by enough to overtake our leading non-CW bod steven on points difference, who was held to a close one by Cloete's Roaring Reds . Cometer rather unluckily slips to fourth.

At the bottom there's no fairytale end for Sam Vimes as his Glimt XI are unable to capitalise on The Baconator's reverse, going down heavily to the strong-finishing Natman20. Marc attains a sheen of mid-table respectability as his AA is clueless defeats Jamee's Foxes of Rugby to secure ninth.

Round 2's results (the first round to count in the league as there's 14 rounds, allowing for byes) are up. As with last year we've been merged with non-CW bods as we didn't fill our league.

It's a mixed round for the CW contingent, one of The Others defeats BM to take the early lead & leave BM propping things up. Marc is the top CWer in 2nd as his The AA randoms defeat Team Matteh & myself, cometer & Somerset all register wins against our interlopers to stand fourth, fifth & sixth respectively.

Less encouragingly it's an all-CW bottom three tho.

Round 3's results now posted. Marc manages to beat last week's early leaders to maintain his 100% start, but falls to third as Peta (one of The Others...) thrashes a fellow outsider & I beat Cloete by enough to go ahead on points difference. Cometer also makes it two from two by defeating Somerset in a low-scoring thriller.

Broncoman opens his account with a win over matteh, who has yet to trouble the scorers. Also point-free after two rounds are last year's runner-up steds & Sam Vimes. Special mention to Hak who has somehow managed to not be in last despite selecting no players!

Haha and I thought I was going to be hammered since I knew my total was going to be low.
Hopefully that's my low scoring round out of the way and I'm able to defeat Skippys this week.

Hmmm not a good week at all - guess I had to expect a low round considering my team was stacked with Crusaders and Tahs.

Got a good feeling about this week, I've calculated a total of more than 100 points for the round. :)

Hamilton (2), Habana, Brett, Masaga (2 though on the bench) all with tries for my side. ;)

Yep, very solid scoring from Somerset. His 138 is the round's highest & comfortably enough to defeat one of The Others. Cometer also cracks the ton to defeat last week's leader, which in turn allows me to take over at the top on points diff as I defeat The Artist Formerly Known As Broncoman by 78-21. :)

Elsewhere Marc suffers his first reverse to a revitalized Sam Vimes, Cloete & Matteh play out a very low scoring draw which gives the latter his first points of the campaign & steds goes down to another of our guests to remain the only manager with nothing to show for his efforts so far.
