That attack is good but I rate Sussex's better TBH. Kirtley,Naved,Saqlain,Lewry and Mushtaq are all top quality bowlers IMO.Wright and Martin-Jenkins are decent back up as well.
Not sure, TBH. Rana can't keep getting the sensational figures he has the last couple of seasons forever.

IMO though the 2 are pretty close, Lancs' is stronger.

And neither are anywhere near as strong as Surrey's of 1999-2000-2001 sort of time: Bicknell, Tudor, Hollioake, Saqlain, Salisbury.

Not really no, especially not Tudor.

Bicknell was to me the epitomy of the county bowler - he knew how to get them out but never had the extra that's needed to get top batsmen out, as recognised by the selectors who didn't select him having no doubt watched a lot more of him than most.

Be very interested to see how Rudra Pratap Singh goes for Leicestershire.....hopefully the expoerience will make him a better bowler.

Not really no, especially not Tudor.
Why on Earth not? Had he had fewer problems with injuries it's quite conceivable to me that he might have developed into a top-class bowler. He had everything - the ability to swing the ball both ways, height, relative speed - all he lacked was accuracy (plus the ability to stay fit).

And I think that had he had fewer fitness problems he might have got better with the accuracy as he bowled more.
Bicknell was to me the epitomy of the county bowler - he knew how to get them out but never had the extra that's needed to get top batsmen out, as recognised by the selectors who didn't select him having no doubt watched a lot more of him than most.
He was the epitomy of the stereotype. In his final Test he made something of a demonstration as to why said stereotype is not a good idea.

Especially when the alternatives are the Liam Plunketts and his predecessors (McCague, Benjamin, Taylor, Reeve).

In any case - even the Andy Caddicks, Dominic Corks, Phillip DeFreitases and Chris Lewises, who did play regularly, never achieved a hell of a lot, though of course Caddick and Cork had their moments at different stages of their careers.
