They should neuter most of the 'fans' at the stadium in Barcelona really (various reasons, paying to watch England being one of them, the rest are as obvious). I like the player rater on the BBC site tho, quantifies the moronic media fuelled bias a lot of the 'fans' have.

The most entertaning bit of the match IMO was the chorus of boos at half time and the hatred on the England fans.

Regarding first havles... I watch England face Andorra and they can't get a shot on target more than once or twice. One minute of the Scotland match while flicking channels and I get more excitement and attacking from a British team - and they're playing Italy. Think I'll watch Scotland's matches instead from now on. They have some great 1-2 passes that actually go forward, etc. Very nice, flowing play. England are stop-start on almost every pass. It's horrible in comparison.

Italy have the likes of Pirlo on the bench and we have that waste of space Kieran Dyer and some guy who plays Championship football.

McClaren deserves **** but you do wonder sometimes about the lack of quality apparent in this squad and around the country. Only solace is that Michael Owen is getting close to fitness, say what you will about Owen but he would have scored a truck load tonight and probably on the weekend in Israel, the likes of Bent, AJ and Nugent are nothing more than club players.
