Might have been wide-ing, but held on there.
Game on?
Game on?
Reckon it was because they lost wickets so fast they might have been expected to be bowled out in 21 overs anyway.Seriously strange that they didn't get a revised target. Surely since they weren't aware it was a 21/21 from the start so should be given at least a little leniency.
On that pitch, with the Indian batsmen in that mood? Would have been a tough ask...Saleem Mukuddem has had a decent World Cup with the ball. Bermuda should not have axed him for the Indian game regardless of his antics, would have snared a few of their top order.
Fancy him to remove Viru.On that pitch, with the Indian batsmen in that mood? Would have been a tough ask...
My guess is that the umpires were aware of the target, but no-one could actually work out why Bangladesh only needed to equal Bermuda's score to win and so the commentators thought that the revised target hadn't been communicated.I have to say that I was amazed to hear Micky Holding saying during the 5th over of Bangladesh's reply that they were still working out if there would be a revised total!
Surely you can't send the batsman out without them knowing what they would be chasing :O
Perhaps. Sehwag impresses me less and less the more I see him these days. I've lost a lot of regard for the man. Even when he's scoring runs he doesn't look a good player at the moment.Fancy him to remove Viru.
If you mean Habibul Bashar, you're desperately mistaken. He's a very poor ODI batsman.Their best batsman hasn't even come to the wicket yet.
