Haha, amazing start from SA. Last couple of overs have been much better though. Dot balls have never looked so good.

Big call for Ponting to make regarding using the spinners, particularly with regard to the powerplays and so on. Hogg will obviously be key, and Symonds might have a role to play too.

Just a bit. How fit is Symonds reckoned to be? You really need 10 overs from each of the spinners afaics.

The claim is 100%. No idea about the reality, obviously.

There's also Clarke, who can bowl a little spin. Australia will need wickets though, and Hogg is someone who can take those, but he can also get belted if he's forced to bowl without defensive fielders.
