*Official* English Football Season 2006-07

Fess up, it was after all those hours of chasing Julius Agahowa and Kim Kallstrom on CM 01/02.
Kallstrom was at Hacken I think. Bakirciouglu at Hammarby and Lunden and Selakovic at Goteborg all went alright too. Oh and Barsom.

But yeah Shakhtar had Okoronkwo, N'Diaye, Aghahowa, Tymoschuk and Pletikosa. All guns. They're even better on FM 07 though!

Anybody else notice that when Robinson scored, it went Tottenham 1 - Watford 1 despite Tottenham being 1-0 up?

You're correct about all the gun Swedish players. Always bought Bakirciouglu and Selakovic and definitely always bought Mike Duff for about 24k.

I'm amazed SP wasn't here to slag off those CDMs for losing to Everton 8-)

Hey GIMH if I get out to our part of the world when I'm over there you fancy the chance to go watch a Tranmere game? I expect a good time as well (this may or may not come back to haunt me).

Someone didn't bother getting database updates. Kallstrom moved to Djurgarden the very next season and stayed there till Rennes came calling.

I went straight from 01/02 to 05/06 on my version. Lost the CD so couldn't go up to the super patched version, ended up getting a CD off ebay for a couple of quid and flew through the years.

Mansfield are much better to watch than Tranmere. :p
We do play some of the most attractive football in the lower leagues til we give up and just start hoofing it forward, which never works because our forwards aren't 6' plus.

Was a bit annoyed to be honest because Brumby had an Everton defender in his team by default, so meant he was just the 30 points behind me instead of like 34. Plus CDMs' season is over anyway.

Lewis Mcgugan - Marry Me.

The young superstar saves Forest with a mint free kick 1-0 to the Reds!!
Ayup young Florist fan. Reckon you'll make it out of Div 3 this year?

With 7 games to go, I still can't believe where Derby are. Before the season started, I predicted 9th or 10th. Now it looks as though the playoffs at least are pretty certain. As for automatic promotion? Well, it's 2 out of 4 now, I reckon.

Too bad Eddie left because Derby are up to 5th spot and somehow Leeds are in 22nd spot and looking at relegation and to think five years ago they were playing some of the biggest clubs in the world in the Champions League.

How this all happened to them is beyond me.

Derby's last match of the season is at home to Leeds.

You'll enjoy that one then?!!! :p

Really great to have you back LE, without wishing to overdo the point. You have been missed.

Seconded. Welcome back LE, just in time to save the forum from eternal direness. :)
Part-time.

Where I work at the moment there's no chance of t'internets. Today's a day off in lieu of Paddy's Day, so I'll perhaps chip in at weekends and grind the odd article out.

I'll be somewhat amused if we win and relegate Dirty Leeds in the process.

I'm fed up of Sky switching all our home matches to midweek too - I've a season-ticket and will have got to only about half of the games at the end of the season.

Bit daft seeing as I work abroad, but there you go.

Great to have you back, Eddie. :)

I was pretty pleased that le Arse lost but it's becoming old hat now tbh.

Reasonably confident ahead of our replay, personally.
