State Vice-Captain
Menzies, Schifcofske only came good for the last 3-4 years, whereas Beaver has been up there for 10 years plus

Steve Menzies

Schifcofske really isn't good enough to be in this battle really.
what a stupid comment, it's easy for people to forget just how much the Raiders have over achieved in the last five years and a lot of that has to do with Schif. Sure he's not going to win the competition but he's worthy to be in it.

TBH they have always had a good forward, just not the big names, so everyone puts them down at the start of the season. His had a lot to do with their good performances, but really there are a lot better players then him in the last 10 years. His a good players, just not good enough for a 'Battle of the Stars'

When Brendon and I got a list happening we tried to get a good mix or current and former stars as well as trying to have a lot of clubs represented, thats how someone like Schifcofske got in, really he's not the least deserving player in the 64 man list, he is at least the equal of Brett Hodgson, Matthew Johns, Tony Puletua, Luke Priddis and Robbie O'Davis...
