Yeah I'd suggest you be careful when making a bid, because the bidding limit has been inadvertently removed. So if you accidentally add an extra zero you'll find yourself in a lot of debt.

I brought in three respectable players, what do you guys think of them?

Code:
Vic Judd - 26 yo, BT Rating=2,885
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, worthless batting form, mediocre bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with proficient leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: woeful
Batting: respectable Concentration: woeful
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal

Terry Goodlad - 29 yo, BT Rating=4,131
LH Batsman, LH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A cautious player with mediocre leadership skills and feeble experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: woeful
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: mediocre

Michael Weston - 18 yo, BT Rating=3,050
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, mediocre batting form, strong bowling form, sublime
A steady player with abysmal leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: worthless
Bowling: respectable Consistency: woeful
Fielding: abysmal
I think i might give Weston a net till the end of the season atleast, most my other trainees are 17yo mediocre or competent primaries with feeble or mediocre secondaries. So they are better in secondaries but his better in primary. It could be handy to have proficient player next season. Not sure what im going to do with their stamina, i probably get it up once i finish off the training of some of my 17yos. Im only going to get most up to competent, so i have something to build around.

EDIT: Hmm got this YP player, i listed him, should i have kept him?

Code:
Thehan Ozeer - 17 yo, BT Rating=2,537
LH Batsman, LM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A cautious player with strong leadership skills and worthless experience.
Stamina: worthless Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: worthless
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: worthless

The 17yo is useless as said. The respectables you bought are fine, just don't have them bowling 10 overs straight or playing too high up the order. As for Weston's training, don't let it get in the way of a long-term plan of training with your 17yos. You should be looking at training these 17yos well into their 20s and by then you'll have a crop of very good players. I would suggest tho getting their stamina up when you can (end of season is usually good because the lack of games means they can take more punishing training, but don't know what Twenty20 will be like) as FC, cup, league games and training will really drain their PFLs in the future.

For Adam's Info ffs.

I currently have 8 remarkable +'s

and two that are training that should be there by the end of next season. At that point my team should look like this:

Batting:
Sensational x2
Exceptional x1
Remarkable x2

Bowling:
Exceptional x2
Remarkable x3

Any thoughts on who's close to popping?

Cotterill is over half-way in bowling, then you've got some unknowns over whether it's his batting that's really high or the batting is really low with the bowling is 2 weeks off popping etc.

Packer has generally high sublevels across his bowling, batting, consistency but it's impossible to pinpoint where exactly.

Think I already said about Bernard, the other two have very low primaries.

Think it might be time to rejig my training then - hopefully be able to give players nets as well as using them where needed.

Haha. Accidentally played with default bowling orders, but I managed to bundle them out for 124, which I'm just about to overhaul now. Griffin got out for a golden though, am really not sure whether he's better suited to the top or middle order.

Edit: Yeah, finished easily. Pleased too, it's the first time out of three encounters that I've beaten this team.

Wielders 124 (41.5)
Erasmus 4/16 (8.5), Canning 2/21 (6), Tedstone 2/25 (10)

Magical Ponies 4/126 (29.1)
Kilkenny 36 (48), Sutton 33* (53), Canning 24* (27)

Magical Ponies Wielders
Top Order: competent strong
Middle Order: proficient competent
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: strong strong
Spin Bowling: proficient strong
Fielding: woeful woeful

Despite Erasmus's 4/16, their batsman Locke gets MOTM for hitting 38 and taking one catch.

Rested Meyer, and won by 9 wickets.

Savage took 4, and Walton 3 as they bundled the opposition out for 104, Nieuwenhuis was out for 8, Orourke & Ludlow chased it down without much fuss, both finishing unbeaten in the forties.

Ratings were crappy as i messed around with the batting order, and left meyer out for my spinner.

U19 12th Man
Playing against Big Mav's World XI.

Bowled first and got them out for 228, Unsworth being the main destroyer with 6-40 including a hattrick.

Am cruising at 2-178 from 28.1, Tucker just bringing his century up off 68 balls.

His match summary ratings are nothing special even if you take into account his indifferent morale, must be some crappy secondaries there.
I know one of his bowlers is remarkable/woeful. His team used to be one of the top three in WI and would still be there if he hadn't sold all his gun batsmen.

Bobisback

TIE'd a match, and almost lost, figured i was gone when i was 4 down, but my middle order did something :-O

Code:
Reporter's Summary
		bobisback Byron Bay

Middle Order: mediocre mediocre
Lower Order: worthless woeful
Seam Bowling: competent mediocre
Spin Bowling: proficient feeble
Fielding: woeful feeble
Can see how i almost lost
