Fair effort from the Blues- 2/402 after the first day, Jaques (141), Katich (102*) and Thornely (109* off 122) all with centuries.

Charminda you must be stoked with our form lately, altho whilst a good first innings we still have to bowl qld out twice.
Qld lacks the depth these days.
Shows what a difference bichel makes.

Dire effort by Queensland

Once there was too much competition for a fast bowlers spot, now it is a case, of they need what they can get.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Simon Katich - all class.

Mind you, it is a terribly weak QLD bowling attack.

Still don't think we are playing that great, the batsmen are back in form, The bowlers are going ok, but it would be really nice if a few of our youngsters should why we won the U19 Cup like four times in a row. Still some major worries about our depth.

Good on Jimmy Maher for delcaring like that, an now New South Wales lead by 174 runs, after Clinton Perren got a ton.

Must admit I like Perren as a player, a solid domestic player despite never going onmto play international cricket, though if he were from the West Indies or one of the weaker Test countries.

(Does England count? )

VIC 346 to win reverse outright (again). We are the masters of this process

Tough ask though from one day.

Heal is a gun. Seriously, he is such a good bowler for his age and a decent bat. You`ll see Camps, he`ll be a gun.

I think the future is rosey charminda recuit a few players plus what we have coming through we will be a force for years.
2 names i would like to add scott meulman and jason gillespie(especially since he wanhts a 2 year deal).
Look at the figures heal is the best spinner in the country by far,i am tipping him to get a CA contract,as will rogers and voges, ben edmonsen could be a smokey for one.

Heal needed to play more games for the Warriors this season to get a contract, IMO.

Should do something about his hair, too.

Fair call vic but macgill and bailey haven't played every game either.
Heal 20 wkts at 20 odd,bailey 25 wkts at 40,macgill 30 wkts at 35.
Not good reading but the other spinners figures go for worse reading won't write simpson, dorans' or casson's figures.
Fact is i don't even think brad hogg is a certainty to get a CA contract this season.
The spinners are pretty thin.
