Excellent game between the Mavs and the Rockets last night. It was close throughout. Dirk and T-Mac putting on a battle for potential MVP's. They came out even pretty much. Mavs with the better supporting cast were able to take the win. Jason Terry scored the last 6 points for the Mavs. Dallas did a good job of slowing down T-Mac in the 4th quarter. Brilliant coaching by Avery too. In one of Houston's final possessions (where they could've taken the lead), he goes to a zone defense which threw them off and they had a turnover. Mavs atop the NBA with a 44-9 record going into the All-Star Break. :)

 38 points from James leads the Cavs to an 8 point win over Kobe's lakers. Was probably one of his better shooting nights for the season, netting 10-16 from the field, and 18-22 from the free-throw line.
Yea, and that one shot he made in the first qtr, just going in and bumping andrew bynum...I don't get how you can create a shot like that for your self so easily...

D Wade injured his shoulder last night, and he looked in a lot of pain at the time. He is expected to miss around 6 weeks or more. Well, no chance of Miami getting into the playoffs now

Yeah that looked extremely painful. Disappointed that he wasn't able to play in the Heat/Mavs matchup last night. I was looking forward to it considering the animosity he and Dirk had built up recently. Wade's a great talent and I hope he recovers in time for the playoffs (assuming Miami is able to make the postseason).

I highly doubt that now. I'm going for NJ or NY, to make a run and get into the playoffs over Miami. It turns out he's out for the whole season, and will be getting surgery.

I would be really happy if either NJ or NY make the playoffs, cause then I would be able to attend some playoff games, and first round will most likely be against Detroit!

Went to the Nuggets/Mavs game last night. Was loads of fun. It was fun to watch Melo and Iverson play in person. Mavs were simply too strong a team for the Nuggets though, and won the game easily. Devon Harris had a breakaway dunk that brought the whole building to its feet. Dirk had his usual stellar night with a double-double (31 pts, 11 rebounds). He missed having his first triple-double by 2 assists. He should've had it too, he fed two perfect passes to Dampier for dunks/layups but Damp couldn't handle them! :@ All in all, a great evening. Specially loved the Mavs dancers!!

yeah the a.i honeymoon is over before it started....without any "d" whatsoever, how the hell does george karl think he can forge a classy combination? they neither have the variety of offensive options that the suns have nor any defense apart from camby....

It's not even defense. They need to run plays on offense, and stop playing it like a pick up game.
