Lille really are a bunch of wankers.

Apparently they want the game annulled due to the referee's decisions. As if that'l ever happen.

The referee's decision is final, it has been since football came about, and to abandon a game due to a dubious goal would undermine the referee.

Apparently they've likened us to Feyenoord. I don't want anyone thrown out, but if anyone it should be them for their players' reaction to the referee's decision.
Personally I think they should be thrown out for this season and the next season (if they qualify for Europe). Lille's conduct on and off the pitch is an absolute disgrace.

Nice 'tackle' from Scholes there too...

How the hell do professional footballers play for so long and still manage to dive in with all their weight on the foot (or two feet sometimes for good measure) that's flying in towards someone's ankle?
He's still brooding about being forced into retirement from Internationals by Sven...

Yeah, but most bug clubs have so much money nowadays that a big transfer isn't going to make too much difference in the grand scheme of things, IMO.

Tbf that may not apply to you lot, given your stadium move, I'm not sure.
I've been impressed with Mosquito Rovers' recent form.

Shows the difference between football and rugby union, as even though the ref is a flyweight to the bigger players they still respect what he says and will even use the term 'sir' and get on with the game. Those players all protesting after Giggs' goal should have all been booked.

Anyway as if Lille wouldn't do the same thing?

Christiano! Brilliant. Rarely have I seen us play so ****, but there you go.

And that was a stone wall penalty, but there you go. Isn't like the ref was intimidated - this is at the Cottage.

We managed to scrape a win against 7th place Wycombe. Sends us up to the dizzy heights of 15th.

Relegation seems to be out of the question now with an 11 point gap back, could still finish as high as 9th realistically with only 6 points separating us.

Charlton 4 -0 West Ham.

You would think having Tevez and the former midfielder by the name of Javier Macherano would enable to do well, but they hardly played or get played. Why not?

Lucas Neill aside, they seem to make crap/average/random signings. Have far too big of a squad.

Boa Morte and Upson are above avreage. Maybe random. Anyway, expected West Ham to win this. After that performance they'll most likely be relegated.

Think they're definitely gone tbh. Charlton to stay up now though i reckon, if Wigan hadn't been shafted at Arsenal it would still be debatable.

I thought Boa Morte is a solid player, good for Fulham and a club like Newcastle/Aston Villa would be the one for him to join, certainly was a flop at Arsenal considering he didn't last long wasn't he?

Anyway did you see the Atletico Madrid-Real Madrid game Xavier? I thought Atletico were very unlucky. Lost all respect for Diarra. Somebody needs to punch him out.

Don't particularly watch Spanish football. Did see the highlights though and you do have a point. Real were outplayed and Atletico unfortunately couldn't get the win. Would have been the first time in a quite a few years too that they'd have managed a win.

Also. Can't see why Boa Morte, Upson and Neill would leave the relative safeties of their clubs and a promotion battle in Upson's case to join a relegation struggle. Boggling.
