Where does Ross Taylor rank?

Tim

Cricketer Of The Year
Well they reckon his position is #3. He's batted there for 3 years for Central Districts and NZ were keen to protect him a little in the CB Series so they played him at #4.

As a Richard fan from way back I don't want to harp on this too much, but it's pretty funny that a guy with such an indepth knowledge of things like first chance averages was completely unaware of the existence of an entire ethnic group that more or less monopolises a large part of the Earth's surface.
Well I wasn't unaware of Papua New Guinea or Western Samoa, but I'd never heard the term Polynesian used before. Have probably met loads of them, obviously.

I am indeed British. Why?
Just surprised that a British person with your intelligence had never heard the word "Polynesian". Something I would have expected from an American. I guess living where I am it's obviously well known but just surprised that it's not something well-known up in your part of the world.

British rugby writers would have you convinced Polynesia is just a rugby boarding school for future All Blacks...
