If I had another batsman to come in I'd be backing myself, but as it is there's only Thatcher (resp/woe) left in the shed.

End of Over 24: 98-5, runrate=4.08, reqrunrate=3.92 (199-10)

Siya playing a lone hand to get 50 and take us past 100. Good lad.

If we could see out the 50 I'd be stoked.

BARNES OUT
Code:
28.1 W	Seneviratne to Hiller
Hiller tried to slog a straight one and failed to connect, out!
28.6 W	Seneviratne to Naylor
Naylor goes down very low for the sweep... but the ball hasn't bounced and cannons into his chest! Big appeal and OUT! Gut Before Wicket!
YESSS!! Now it's almost over. A great lone hand from Hiller though.

EDIT: He gets two in the over and there's not much left. Baker needs a blinder.

I'll probably not get another chance to do this, so...

BARNES OUT
Code:
36.4 W	Sambrook to Braniff
Strikes Braniff on the pads, it looked to have pitched outside leg stump but the umpire has raised the finger. Replays suggest Braniff was a little unlucky there.
Braniff makes a solid 22 ball duck.

My bowling ratings getting much better. Hopefully with my new trainee and Munroe's pop to remarkable imminent, as well as Dylan to strong, my batting will go a few levels by the end of the season.

Pretty crappy start for my boys against Pup. My seamers are struggling on the dusty pitch, hopefully Pup seamer do as well. Need Sishayi to get a few wickets this spell to hold them back.

We just made 200, thanks to Siya. Thoroughly outplayed by Mike's team. Thanks for the match, mate :)

Edit: Siya's last 10 innings have been (league and friendly) 93*, 114*, 82, 46*, 87, 123*, 91, 100, 119, 99.

9 to win, 6 needed for Canning's first ever century. Can he do it?

Edit: He does it, first ever century!

Code:
And that's the end of the match. Magical Ponies won by 5 wickets.

44.2 4	Kealey to Canning
Exquisite on drive for four. Impeccable timing and placement.
And that's a century for Canning! Well played indeed Sir!
44.1 4	Kealey to Canning

Canning - a real hero. Good stuff from the bloke to win it for guys and get his maiden century.

Jamee must be spewing...
Haha. In the first game, Bardle took 8/25, and now Canning took 3/30 and made a century in the second. Calls for a Bardle-Canning cup IMO.

Anyway, to round off the game:

Jamees 999ers 199 (48.4)
Kealey 72 (117), Warnock 31 (36), Gowshall 28 (59)
Fernando 4/36 (9.4), Canning 3/30 (10), Erasmus 3/44 (9)

Magical Ponies 5/200 (44.3)
Canning 103* (121), Tedstone 78* (115), Kilkenny 4 (10)
Bardle 4/33 (10), Kealey 1/44 (7.3), Aldred 0/26 (7)

Crazy scenes here at the Ponies ground. An unbeaten 190 run partnership between Canning and Tedstone after being 5/10.

Magical Ponies Jamees 999ers
Top Order: competent respectable
Middle Order: proficient mediocre
Lower Order: abysmal abysmal
Seam Bowling: strong strong
Spin Bowling: proficient mediocre
Fielding: woeful feeble
MOTM: Canning

Edit: Just noticed that my keeper Terry got six dismissals for the match. Would probably be a team record, or at least close to it.

Pretty good effort from my boys to get back on top. Sisk and Sishayi both got 2 wickets a piece. Justin has one good batsmen left in Pollard, if i can get him out soon i could roll them for under 220, but if he gets going they might score 250 odd.

End of Over 40: 188-4, runrate=4.70
Sishayi 10-0-49-2
Nevin* 9 (17 balls)
Pollard 31 (45 balls)

Last Wicket: Jefferson b. Sishayi 11 (FOW: 169/4)

Oh god we are in a whole lot of trouble against Rodgie's team. They ended up with 267 after they slogged my two death bowlers, Pollard and Nevin got most of the runs with the other making some handy scores. Lost a few quick wickets with Quintin once again not going on after making a start, need to drop him to the middle order and find a new opening batsmen soon. These two are my only good batsmen left, so need some big score from both of them.

End of Over 15: 78-3, runrate=5.20, reqrunrate=5.43 (267-10)
Verhoeven 1-0-9-0
Muralitharan* 7 (18 balls)
Ellis 31 (26 balls)

Last Wicket: Obeysekera lbw b. Street 6 (FOW: 52/3)
