Tuffey has to be the worst bowler in ODI atm
Big call, he has produced some quality spells in the past. To be fair, he was picked more on reputation than form in this series.

New Zealand's fielding has been top-notch again today, hitting the stumps more regularly and making good dives, generally saving runs which gets the bowlers confidence up.

Hussey and Haddin are playing with more aggression now but the RR is still a little over 4 runs an over. Need to hit a few sixes off an over to get it over 5. Left handers have a 43m hit to the onside to clear the fence.
woulnd't that depend which end the bowler is bowling at?

But to be fair to the good spells, most were in New Zealand. How many times has he produced a good spell overseas?? Especially with the World Cup around the corner thats what we need to look for. I think Adams needs a go, he will add some quality hitting at the end as well. Add Mason too, he has shown in Australia that he can bowl a line and length.

We keep trying Andre Adams in the ODI side and he has never really performed, been too expensive with the ball and unable to fire with the bat. He's been in very good foorm for Auckland in the State Twenty20 and State Shield but honestly, I don't think he should be in the side, James Franklin would be ahead of both him and Mason, because when Franklin get's it right he looks far more threatening.

Clever captaincy bringing Vettori on now. May seem obvious but he's the most experienced bowler at keeping the RR down, maybe calm this partnership down and use Tuffey's remaining overs up later on.

Good innings there by Haddin, atleast he was trying to score runs and use the short boundaries.

What do you guys think would be a good target on this pitch, i mean if haddin stays till the end 300 or even 300+ is still a possibility.

Um... I'm not sure how to break this to you, but Haddin is out.

Huss staying there till the end is very important now, need a slogfest from white though.

The Highest score by AUS on this ground is 264/5 in 2004. The highest succesful chase is 268 by New Zealand against the WI in 2000 and that match was reduced to 250 due to D/L.
