BARNES OUT
I've seen worse go for close to 3.
Bit of an overreaction IMO. Calm down. Was a reasonable question. Geez. Don't let personal dislike cloud your judgement.Becuase I found someone else to bid on, you idiot. Don't ever address me again, you've got to be the dumbest person on this planet (bar your friend up there who had no idea how to use MS Word... wtf?). Personally, I'd back andmark in an IQ test.
FFS, how ignorant can you get? Pakistan only has 340 active managers, Sri Lanka 181, and West Indies 248. Australia and England have 2360 and 3466 respectively. To put that in context, Australia currently has more users online (329) than West Indies, Pakistan or Sri Lanka have active managers. Of course they're going to be stronger.Seems like Australia U19's minimum primary is Wonderful this year I find it striking how Pakistan or other minnow countries can't get 20 committed managers out of 7,500 to train a batsmen or bowler on 5 nets for 3 years or an Allrounder on 8-9 nets for 3 years.
They seriously need to get this Dual Nationality sorted just for their cause.
Hmmm... if you have a bowler that you reckon has a chance against him, then put him on attacking or very attacking, and then leave everyone else on very defensive. They'll still take wickets (Canning's the only bowler who doesn't bowl on very defensive me, and I still bowl teams out), but they won't be as expensive. If he's got nothing else, then if you manage to get out the gun bat, you should be able to bowl them out regardless of the very defensive setting, or at least restrict them. That's what I'd do at least. And finally, does anyone have any tips on how to tackle a side with one Super, £69 P/W batsman, but nowt else?
Cheers, Trev
Well, that'll be due to the way the game was structured during the beta period and season 1. The vast majority of the people who signed up for the beta were from Hattrick-England, and there were too many for the fledgling BT-England leagues. I can't remember whether the beta was just England. In all honesty I don't think there are more than 80 genuinely active teams in WI. There are only about 20-30 that participate actively (i.e. on sledging or in the offsite forum) as well, and most of them are already training NT or U19 players. The majority of teams just drift along doing pretty much nothing then turn bot. The number of active users in WI has been hovering around 250 for the past season or two despite the new sign ups.
Uhhhhh... Rose?I don't actually know of anyone playing in WI who is a West Indian living in the West Indies.
The server load is bad enough already, thanks...If it was somehow advertised through one of the large cricket sites (not necessarily cricinfo, thinking more of the various India-based sites), the number of users would go through the roof.
