The match was forfeted coz of stubborness of one man, who happen to be Mr Hair.It was none other than ICC president, Speed that tried his level best to convince Hair to resume the match but Mr Hair didn't move.
The ICC has learnt a lesson from that match and are likely to take away the power of forfeiting match from umpires, as rogue umpires like Hair can create a disaster by misusing such power.

This Umpire asked for 500,000 USD to walk away from the game, and when his wish wasn't fulfilled and was rightfully booted out then he's trying to drag ICC in court of law on charges of racism.

This guy can do anything for money, too bad ppl only talk about disciplinary record of players, coz this umpire happen to have the worst disciplinary record as an umpire in the game.

Hate to get into this but when ICC has found Hair to be wrong upon this ball tampering issue then why people have to rant again and again . hair was the senior umpire...and AGAIN soo the procedure of the decision was right. but since you have to answer for some decisions when its as big as calling a team a cheat you have to have proof. Umpires are still accountable for their decisions! they cant call anything and get away with it. as i explained earlier try to remember...since the umpires are sole dudges would a umpire get away with saying a clean bowled isn't a out? why not he's the SOLE judge and if he thinks its not even a clean bowled its not...well thats not how it works...they are still acountable.

hair didn't loose his job, he was demoted! he already had a repuation good/bad. hair too returned to his career- umpireing. inzi had a good/bad and got things added to it. even punishment

The only possible proof was destroyed because it was the ball 5 overs before the run deduction.

Doctrove wanted to avoid five run penalty as he wasn't sure, it was Hair who decided the penalty.The decision was wrong as it wasn't based on facts, Hair didn't witness any player tamper the ball and he just assume that the ball was tampered and took the decision.
