Um...that's not new. Leg-stump yorkers have pretty much been the best way to bowl at the death for as long as limited-overs cricket has existed.
Those balls were only just shaving the leg stumps mate. If the batsman had just stayed where they were they shoulda had 8 runs of those 2 balls.

England obviously have thought that they scored too many. So they are kind enough to give NZ an extra 50 balls in the chase. Very generous.

Gah, England's bowling is so mediocre. Throw in inconsistent and you have hair-pulling circumstances.

Strewth, Plunkett's sent down 8 wides in 4 overs. What the hell do they teach them at Durham? And what the hell has Shine been doing for the last 9 months. And why can't the lazy bugger just sort his game out ffs? I suppose it was kind of him to remind us that he shouldn't be within a mile of our WC squad and that the Aus game was just a oneoff fluke, but even so.

Worst possible start for England this, they really needed to come out firing. They haven't and it's NZ's game from here on in.

Yeah, England were in with a fair chance at the change of innings, but they've basically thrown that position away in a few overs. NZ firm favourites now.

If theres one thing about cricket always remember that anything can happen! It can do a full rotation of whos in control before we know the final victor. It is way to early to predict a win.
