You sure he's second? I thought STJ had 23 which would put him in at no.2.

Alright. Our only chance is if fleming chucks the ball to Bond and tells him to do some magic.

Other than that, Aus by 7 wickets with an over to spare.

I'm not too despondent. We batted well and have been beaten by the class of Ponting who is now moving into top 10 all-time player territory imo. All hinges on Tuesdays game which was pretty much the case anyway.

Haha. Something tells me that he won't get there...

Edit: Well, now that Cricinfo updates, there's a chance he might

Hodge in the last 5 overs: 14 balls, 23 runs.

I'm not a big fan of his, but you can't deny he's paced his innings perfectly.
I don't think only scoring single for half an hour was a pre-meditated thing for hodge, more a result of his nerves at this surely being his last of many chances.

When you had a go at Edmunds for listening to The Smiths, I was going to make a post guessing you were a Queen fan, but aborted it for some reason. No surprises, but shocking form nonetheless.
Don't worry Faaip. I'm not a big Queen fan. Just torturing BoyBrumby. I prefer Bon Jovi and Def Leppard

This shakes things up a little for the WC, as Hodge should now be guaranteed a place. He'd probably be best suited at 4 or 5, which probably makes it less likely Watson will bat in the top order when he replaces White.

At least it means White won't be picked as a specialist bat replacing Symonds.

Ponting out now, deserved to be unbeaten.
