Accept that it was going to happen at some point, you've handed us our rumps on a plate for the best part of 3 months so please try and be graceful if we win. I'm still not sure given our form. :p

No problem with that, but after '05 when England won the Ashes 2-1 and acted like they had just single-handedly brought about the second coming of christ, we're a bit worried about the headlines that this game announces the start of a new era of England dominance.

Joyce, Bopara, Plunkett for MBEs anyone?:D

Whatever. More to the point, the umpire was O'Connell & it was a test match. Didn't we just love those Aussie umps!

Haha, you over-estimate the stupidity of the media. Don't worry, there won't be any fanfare after this from anyone IMO.

We've been utterly pillaged this tour and nothing that happens now will change that. Tests were all important and we were awful so that's what'll stick in my mind.

I do get annoyed with how people associate what the media say to what England fans feel and think. I certainly don't agree with a lot of what got printed after the Ashes but it seems the brush is out sweeping. :p
