That's by far the worst miss I've seen by a keeper in a very long time. Crucial stage too...what a muppet
I've seen Parthiv Patel for India do one worse back in 2004 against Aus, but yeah that was horrid.

Blatant attempt to keep Hayden in the side for the WC, what with Bopara missing him earlier as well and Fred sending down the worst over of his entire oneday career
Yeh, like England are in a position to do that, but nice theory...and humorous. I still rate Hayden actually...and that celebration disproves your theory ;)

Such a stupid shot! I totally agreed with Tony Greig, Australia didn't need to take the risks they were taking.

Australia had just become favourites at 1.72 to 2.00, then Hayden went out and they blew out to 2.75, incredible.

I also think Hussey is due a failure, and its likely to happen in the match where I have money on Aus so chalk up one here.

They wouldn't want to be too obvious though. 8-)
And they probably reckon the job is done. He made 50, and that over against Fred made his strike rate look respectable. Hard to drop him now.

"Hussey's Match?"

This one is shaping up to be a classic IMO. Symonds injured, four down, plenty to get. Will take a huge effort from someone. Either that or England will break their losing streak, which will be momentous enough.

It's at this time that I should probably point out that I did also once write this:
Never gets old.

One of the best posts on CW IMO.

Still nervous but less so than while Hayden was flaying to all parts...

Great start to the Super 4 tonight btw. Blues 34- Crusaders 25. I'm going at 100% in my work picks :)
Golly gosh, Super 14 already. In a couple of years time its probably gonna be starting around New Years. Still remember the good old days when rugby started end of March-ish

Roy retired hurt!!!!

Edit:
Now Cameron White has to show everyone that he can play an innings under pressure in international cricket, and a sensible one at that.
A lot more difficult than coming in at 2xx/4 in complete control and smashing it around
