Loye is really not an international batsman. Has such a simple weakness. Angle the ball across him and he's a bunny. He is a one-trick pony with that sweep of his. Too bad he can't play many other strokes.

England really are a mess, they have no honour or pride which is pretty clear when i saw Flintoff laugh in the presentation ceremony(while talking to mark nicholas) today, after another horrible performance by england. I mean when you represent your country, you should feel the pain when you let your country down.

The only talk of depth I remember was the lack of it (as shown by losing Jones and replacing him with Collingwood for the Oval Test)

As SS said, England would beat everyone other than Aus at the moment. To put it bluntly, England have been made to look very poor, and have played very poor against the best team for a good few years now.

IIRC, that's over because of the patriotic pound.
Its the same reason you can currently get 10-1 Inter Milan for the Champions League, but only 7-1 on Man United!

To be fair - without injuries / mental issues, there would be a lot different side out on the pitch.
It still wouldn't be a great ODI side by any stretch of the imagination, but it would be a heck of a lot better than this side.

It's just pretty obvious when you look at the standard of cricket they are playing. OK 6 sides other than Australia would beat England in a test match quite easily if played now

Hello?.We're talking about Test match cricket and England against any other side other than Australia would probably beat them.They've been very consistent in test matches in the last 3-4years.
