I have the 1 net but I suppose I might be able to squeaze out Coatesy's fielding net which might give me 2 nets is it worth getting the top guy and putting him on a Fielding and Stamina net to eventually become a bowling and eventually replace Hinshelwood?

I wouldn't of thought so, too old imo.

edit, was reading the wrong player but i'd still say no as his secondaries are too low.

Hmm Herbert's upto 5 mill atm, looks like i might have a tough decision to make.
Unless he's about to pop in everything next week it's a pretty easy decision in my opinion. He's a solid bowler and rubbish batsman going for 5m. In 2-3 seasons he'll be good, but you'll have spent 50+ nets to get there. With that number you could make virtually any trainee good. Hell if you wanted you get buy a trainee with better secondaries and start again and he'll be better than Herbert and then do whatever you wanted with the other millions left over.

A guy like this would be better than Herbert at this stage of next season:

Richard Haines (1077561)
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, proficient batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A steady player with worthless leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Rampaging Rhinos
Nationality: Australia
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 8,582
Wages: £1,822 p/w

Stamina: feeble Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: feeble
Bowling: respectable Consistency: feeble
Fielding: worthless

He'd be just about hitting superb/superb, competent/respectable secondaries - with 2 bat, 2 bowl, 1 field.

I prefer the gun route personally, as you'll all know.

@ what price?

Herbert's Stamina is maxed which was a good thing as i didnt need to have another net on him.
